The entire Thursday was a blur to me. I didn't do much after the morning meeting and spent most of the day on the sofa with my laptop on the coffee table. I wondered is Jasmine was disappointed that she didn't get naked cuddles.

Friday I was supposed to have my weekly session with Rebecca but I didn't go back to the office. Told her I wasn't feeling well so she was ok to do it virtually.

I let Jasmine listen in, although I probably shouldn't have, and thankfully, Rebecca didn't do her usual nonsense of badmouthing Jasmine.

After the session, Jasmine told me she kind of felt guilty that she caused me such trouble. But at least it was clear that my work performance had not been affected by the letter.

Over the two days, I diligently monitored my pee. There was no blood, so I suppose my kidneys weren't damaged.

Perhaps I was lucky. Alan didn't hit me as hard as Ann's husband previously. Maybe he was weak, or maybe he was merely sending me a message. Yet I couldn't help but wonder what I would do if I encountered him again. Would I fight back to defend myself? Or would I simply let him beat me senseless before hopefully somebody called the police. That was one sure way of getting him out of Jasmine's life. But the risks were too great.

It didn't appear to me that she was doing anything to accelerate the proceedings between them, but it wasn't my place to rush her. Besides, I was getting pretty well taken care of by her, and sometimes Alicia, when she was home.

Alicia, on the other hand, kept teasing me sexually. I didn't know what she was trying to do. I thought she had already moved on from me. To her credit, she didn't call Darren over anymore this week. Perhaps she didn't want me to feel obligated to pleasure Jasmine in my current state, and didn't want to make her jealous that she couldn't get his monster cock while I was there with her.

Honestly, I think I wouldn't really mind if she did still see Darren during this period as our relationship wasn't properly defined yet, as long as she told me about it. It wasn't so much about asking for permission, but more of a courtesy I guess. Again, I guess the lack of possessiveness would probably be detrimental to the relationship. But right now, there wasn't a real relationship.

Friday night I was feeling better so we decided to head out for dinner.

As usual, we went to Northpoint, but this time, went for Japanese food instead.

Being a Friday night, it was super crowded and by the time we were seated it was already 8. She had some udon thing, while I just ate sushi and some other stuff.

After dinner I decided to head home, having spent the entire week over at her place. My parents weren't surprised that I was gone the whole time, they were probably used to me no being around much anyway.

The weekend was spent in front of the PC, playing games. I guess I needed something to take my mind off things.

At least I wasn't pissing blood, and the bruised ribs were slowly healing. I needed to get back in shape for an entire week in the office.

Other than the expected "Are you ok?" texts, Jasmine didn't text much over the weekend. It was in fact Bro EoS who had telegrammed me a couple of times and was rather concerned about the situation. I ignored him for awhile but eventually told him I was fine and he left it at that.

Common sense told me I probably should just leave Jasmine alone until she finalized her divorce, but somehow something kept drawing me towards her. I guess Monday might be slightly awkward since we were going to be in the office together.

The story is almost "live" mode now, so we have to be more patient.
Mark has his work/life and to write so much on the forum is not easy.
