Always becareful with your money when in HCMC

I just heard from my galfriend that 2 sillypore guys who visited her niece and friend in HCMC had lost their money in the hotel room.
They went for breakfast in the morning and when they came back to their room, it is tidied up. Their money also kanna "tidy up".

Report police also cannot do anything

of course police cannot do anything la... housekeeping took it... gave part of it to police already. In vietnam, things like that can happen one. You think the Police cannot arrest everyone working in housekeeping and drag them to station and question them till they own up ah? The reason they not doing that bcos no good reasons to do that, especially they have been paid already... the more there is no reason to hit the hand that feed you!

Please share the name of this hotel so we can blacklist it.

This kind of incident happens often in Vietnam.
5 star hotels are not spared.
Keep your valuables with hotel reception.

Here's something for the thieves.
Dump a bunch of used condoms and joss paper money in your in room safe as decoy. Huat arh!

You'll be surprised running a business in HCMC might be even more expensive than Singapore!

Business overheads are high in all major cities.
It's whether you've high turnover to offset your overheads and get some decent profit.

The police usually always take half; it's the unwritten law. This includes whatever they can recover back for you.
