was in HCMC recently, after reading the post here, regret never met any bros here for a drink. maybe next time i am there. tried most of the places mention here. this time met my GF and went to Pham Tip or what ever the spelling. Anyways it was very nice full GFE experience. Which I think is a good way to go in HCMC. Getting multiple girls into hotel rooms on a short stay can be troubling. And the hotels can be a b#tch with the ladies.

This is a great news to all those doing business in Vietnam. Vietnam is accepted into WTO. I believe we are about to see fantastic changes these few years which are going to benefit us, the foreign investors!

Visit by US-ASEAN council pushes WTO 11:23' 08/03/2006 (GMT+7) VietNamNet – A high-ranking delegation of the US-ASEAN Enterprise Council starts a four-day visit to Vietnam on March 8, hoped to move Vietnam- US WTO talks forward. The delegation will be led by Matthew P Daley, Chairman of the US-ASEAN Enterprise Council. According to Virginia Foote, Deputy Chairman of the council, Chairman of the US-Vietnam Trade Council, this is the largest delegation of American business representatives visiting Vietnam this year. The delegation gathers more than 40 executive mangers from 21 large groups in the US, including ACE, AIG, Alticor, Anheuser-Bush, Boeing, Cargill, Citigroup, Diageo, FedEx, Ford, GE, GlaxoSmithKline, JHPIEGO, J.Ray McDermott, JP Morgan Chase, Oracle Corporation, Phillip Morris, Time Warner, Unisys, UPS and United Technologies. According to the US-Vietnam Trade Council, the visit aims to show US groups’ interest in Vietnam and their support for Vietnam’s WTO bid.The delegation will met with officials of the HCM City People’s Committee on March 8 and will meet in Hanoi March 9 -11 with Prime Minister Phan Van Khai, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan, and leaders of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Planning and Investment, Industry, Finance and Trade. Before this visit, Mr Daley said: “I believe that the visit of the delegation of large groups this time proves that Vietnam can provide many opportunities for American businesses. Vietnam’s accession to the WTO is greatly meaningful and our companies are expecting it.” “We are expected to support the vote at the US Congress for the permanent, normal trade relations (PNTR) for Vietnam after the two countries sign the package bilateral trade agreement,” said US negotiator Virginia Foote.
