I personally think that this whole KC issue is very hard to learn just by reading advice given or by listening to others - even your closest buddies!
However, having read all 15 pages of this thread, i must say that many points were touched on and are indeed very relevant. My point of view is that EVERYTHING in life is about experiences!  You can talk advise a newbie till the cows come home but still, he'll think that he's different and that he's the knight in shining armour!! Once the whole lovey-dovey bubble has burst, the true meaning of your words will then ring in his head. Often, we rely on hindsight to correct ourselves and to learn from mistakes made. I think that this is also the case for the KC theme mentioned in here. How is one able to comprehend the kind of hurt and damage that a WL does to you? Yes! only when you've been hurt before...if not, i dun see how any amount of advice will have the same effect on anyone.... I am sure many of our senior bros have been hurt and have suffered some amount of damage before they wised up to the tricks of these girls...Pls correct me if I am wrong.  Conversely, for these WLs, as much as many try the KC trick to get what they want, many have been hurt b4 and they will only wise up and learn many more tricks of the trade. I have persoannly known one such girl. Initially, she was a greenhorn who was here for the 1st time and everything about her exudes naive-ness and she almost always believe everything you say. However, due to her very young age, I somehow did not bear to try to KC her....Over time, with more experience and more trips and further "education" by her fellow sisters, I realised that she has became another person!! - no longer the naive village gal that i know her to be..... Therefore, to me, before even the discussion on using NLP for the KC games, ONE needs to have the experience of having been hurt to know why all these discussion is necessary in the first place. In a nutshell, I think experience is the key but having said that, there is no end to experience..so just be aware of some gals that have more experience than you! These 3 items is just for the preparation parts. In books, it might be named as Introduction. You need to mix all these together for "Preparation of KCing" and remember this, KC a WL/FL is much much harder as well as adventurous than KC normal girls around you...Yes...including your wife.
