One of my recent dates gave me a red packet.

Instantly, I realised this is Bubbles' Birthday week!

Looking back on this crappy year, how I ventured to this forum, I recalled how I got into this embarrassing financial plight, which led to why I got a brainwave & coined this unconventional paid dating concept.

I remembered being seething green when I faced budget competition from SYTs

who came, conquered but disappeared;

And recently, product differentiation in the form of BBW.


Soon to be a year older, wise Bubbles has learnt to take copycats with a pinch of salt (& pepper).
Imitation must be the best form of flattery.

Ps. A gift is not required for a date.
As much as I like a new Ikea wardrobe (so I can dress faster),
or new pumps (since my ankle has recovered),
