Quote:
Actually the 4 persons were charged for the murder of the retired teacher ...... if found quiltyof murder, they were supposed to be hanged .......however, if found quilty of 'manslaughter' but not murder, then they will be sentenced to a few years in jail ...... just wait and see |

However it could also just be the situation as described by our Prof about the cops making a boo-boo with the investigations. Read too many of such situations to not believe that it's possible.

Bro, You consider lucky liao! Was in Taman Century 2wks ago with my friend, he rode a bike while I am driving a car. After topping up petrol, my friends stay in the petrol kiosk to while bird shit off his bike and I left 1st. 10 minutes later, (after my hp got reception upon reaching custom), he called for help quoting that he was push off his bike by 3 Malay guys (they came in 2 bikes, 1 show barang inside his jacket to my friend) and they just rode off. A police petrol car saw the incident, chase after them... Went back to pick up my friend and report the incident to the police. The police then tell us it is very common and my friend is the second victim of the day. The best part is, they said if their counter part manage to catch the robbers during the chase the will sure radio call back. If no radio call means the loss the chase. Come to think of it, couldn't the petrolling officer request for back up? |

Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
your friend is indeed lucky that the robbers dint bash his head with a hammer. One of my ex-colleagues was pumping petrol HALFWAY in a petrol ksiok just before the custom.. with at least 20-30 other Singapore cars and at least 100+ people... when 2 indian chaps came from NOWHERE And smashed the hammer into his head causing him to black out..
this happened 2 months ago. News did not report because EVERYDAY Sure got at least 50-100 robberies in Johor Bahru alone. Snatch theft is the most common.. one day about 200 cases. Quote:

Re: 4 charged with murder of retired teacher
Thanks for your educated post again.
These 4 criminals must have committed at least 1000 other robberies, rapes, molest etc in Johor Bahru alone. Will be happy if they got hang. My friend sister was staying further into Johor, near Taman Saleng.. while walking back from school to some shophouses, two indian chaps on motorbikes appeared out of nowhere and snatched her whole bag.. she fell onto the ground and FRACTURED her hand. Couldnt even attend exams. In her class of 40 students, about 10 had been snatched theft before and all 40 had family members being victims of rapes, molest and snatch theft. I pity the normal citizens in Malaysia who are tryingg to make ends meet. Quote:

Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
Most of the criminals are Indians. My car window was smashed too at Taman Bukit Mewah and those passerby told me was done by Indian. The local would not help you to fight the crminals because they are afraid too.

however, let us be fair to the poor innocent indian brothers up north who are victims of indian criminals too. i myself have personal indian friends in malaysia who are decent businesspersons and doctors etc and they feel threatened by the insecurity in their neighbourhood too. the indians criminals are rather hardcore. they have no qualms about gang-raping a PREGNANT woman in front of her 3 year old kid in deserted houses like what happened in Tampoi, Johor Bahru a few months back. Those type of cases really scare the hell out of malaysians and travellers alike... and the indians community in malaysia anda johor bahru, esp those law-abiding, had suffered a lot under the stupid government.

Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
I would like to add on to the trend of malaysian criminals and their styles in johor.
A few of my friends and some on the internet have complained of returning from jb to singapore and were warned to stop their vehicles late at nights on road shoulders. the attackers, seemingly car-jackers or robbers, will jam brake at you hoping u will crash into their car and then go to road side to negotiate. then they will bundle u into the car and drive off. when u overtake them, being singapore cars with powerful engines, they will try to chase u and hi-beam at you many times warning u too stop. never stop. just drive on and speed up at 150km.hour. they will stop following u once u are near to the custom. never never stop let me tell u. if anyone ride next to u and say polis and ask u to stop, never stop. go to the polis stations ( or any in singapore ) to lodge a report to defend youself. at least when they claimeed that u are trying to run away from polis, u can defend yourself. being singaporean, our embassies will protect u. i mean, who the hell will stop by the road side in malaysia at 12am?? dont be stupid. this is a warning to those who are plannig to go into malaysia for holidays over the 2 months holidays. i go in based on need and not for holidays.. so i just cannot boycott malaysia. sighz

I actually travel to KL frequently for business. When you put all the articles in one thread, it really looks scary.
