You have twisted my comments and sought to impose your devil may care attitude on how people should think or act.

The general gist of my post was that many, including myself, will not officially register at a brothel for reasons of reputation. Some examples of such people would be civil servants. What fear mongering did I spread? I never said cannot go. Go lah! Later post on facebook and share with your colleagues. I am talking about the likelihood of a civil servant or anyone else with status wishing to have an official record at the brothel.

Civil serpents not being allowed to go GL is untrue. Eons ago in a previous life as a young civil servant I was given a code of behaviour which had a clause disallowing us to visit "places of ill-repute". I would define that as illegal entertainment venues such as MPs with special services, illegal gambling dens etc. I would not regard GL as a place of ill-repute, especially when the OKTs have to declare income tax + are "supervised" by the gahment

Besides, I have met many civil serpents in GL and have not heard of their careers torpedoed for visiting GL. In fact I do not mind them visiting GL, especially if they share FRs

Yes, you are correct. Civil serpents are never asked if they visit GL. In their annual declaration they are asked to declare only indebtedness, ownership of property and shares, visits to casinos and I think one or two minor stuff.

Even if asked, the right response is the truth. GL is not illegal, and it has no career impact. Responding with a lie would lead to an implication of dishonesty if the truth is discovered; that might and might only have a career impact.
