bro, you stay in phuket town? rome place may still be operating. most of the soapy massage joints in town close at 11pm. try pink 2000 else go hunting at timberhut! after midnight go to the beer gardens like fever corner or james garden, you might get lucky. have fun, need to get more info do pm me. cheers

hi, bro, ya i will be staying Rattana Mansion. I noe Bro Natto3 is a veteran in the phuket scene. Hehehehe, 1 qn, does Rattana charge overnite fee for gal? Pink 2002 is the one opp Fantasia, rite?

hi bro, rattana mansion is girl friendly and the manager tim (lady) is very good friend of mine. use the place often. now low season should get room for less than 600bht nett. pink2000 is on phangna road close to fantasia. went to pink cafe a few weeks ago, very sad scene, we were the only people in there!
you could also try pink lady nearby to fantasia. cheers and have fun.

hi all.. i will be at phuket from 24-28 jul and staying at MovenPick resort.. seems quite far from patong and phuket town... any nearby happenings available ??

if going to phuket town/ patong... wats the taxi fare like and how long is the journey?

anyone going to phuket during the off season please be aware of the red flag warnings hoisted on the popular beaches. this is to warn you that the beaches are not safe for swimming due to strong currents and high waves. these warnings should be taken seriously as the consequences can be fatal. every year several fatalities occur on patong ,karon and kata beaches. this year in no exception with the drowning of yet another singaporean on saturday. if you feel like a dip, the hotel pool would be the best choice at this time of the year. cheers and have fun.

Third tourist drowning in Phuket in two days

Phuket - A foreign tourist drowned off Patong beach yesterday, the third foreigner to die this way in the resort province in two days. Police said the 32-year-old man arrived in Phuket three days ago. He was a Saudi Arabian national. His name was withheld.

The man's friends told police he was swimming when a large wave engulfed him. His body was retrieved about 10 minutes later.

Police said a Singaporean tourist drowned at the same beach while swimming on Saturday.

A Russian national died while swimming in a prohibited area of Bang Thao beach in Thalang district the same day, police said.

Monsoons strong in Phuket area

The Meteorological Department warned this monring that monsoons in southwestern Thailand will bring in more heavy rain and high waves today.

Three tourists drowned in heavy waves off Phuket on the weekend.

The warning mentioned the Gulf of Thailand as well as the Andaman coast, where Phuket lies. Ships going out to sea are being urged to exercise caution. Small boats on the Andaman coast are encouraged to remain inland at least for the next two days.

will be at phuket from 1 aug - 6 aug. n i have a question to ask as i'm staying at banthai beach resort, is this hotel guest friendly? if not how much does they charge?

Bro,

Joiner fees of 500 Baht/night/guest. Banthai is strictly a family resort.

If you had booked as a double, you can avoid the joiner if you are confident and firm with the front desk.

At check in, sign in also as double and register your roomate as GF using a name as obscure as "Khun Na" or whatever.

When they ask you for her ID or other details, say you not sure as you only have her Nickname and will supply later.

Later in the night when the girl comes back with you, just confidently go to your room and brief her to tell the security or whoever tries to stop you to check with front desk that she is your GF, Khun Na. Dont stop to tell him anything else!!

IF they later try to charge you, tell them "are you mad, that was my GF Khun Na and if you change girls, keep in using the same name. In the worst case, if they work out that you are changing GFs, tell them that you bought double and you have more than one GF!

If you are firm, they will not dare! In fact, instead of meekly being charged, I would ask for the GM and complain to him about his hotel!

That's the way I would handle the hotel for joiner so long as I have booked a DOUBLE!

hi i juz came b frm a trip to phuket,happen that i stay at b anthai as well.nice place wif nice pools wif bar counter in it.rm nicely decor and gd view..the best rooms is that on first level,when u open ur balcony door,it is the pool.wow..

i think tat resort is nt gal friendly but they hv alot places u can flank in..so dun worri bro u noe wad i mean when u reach there
