I found this statement from presumably an angmoh guy who lived in Thailand in the http://www.stickmanbangkok.com/ forum website. Can any bro comment on this statement? The stickmanbangok website has sad stories of angmoh guys being cheated by Thai girls n advice how to avoid dat. One shouldn't laugh at these sad stories but to take heed.

For any con to work, firstly there must be someone willingly to be con. All these Ang moh guys come to Bangkok to look for love in Soi cowboy and whatever mongering places they go, surely there will be casualties. If you play with fire, don't complain you got burned.

There are SO MANY eligible single ladies not working in the industry, bound to meet someone interesting and possibly a happy ending if you go looking at the right place. Your odds get even better if you speak thai.

I love the people, food, culture and even language in LOS. Just not the music haha. Have some distant relatives there some more. But pretty sure you need to speak Thai well. Even the taxi drivers also don't speak much English since a lot of the menial jobs are done by migrants from Isaan. I think BKK can get expensive to live well now, but Chiangmai definitely still doable.

These Ang Moh go Thailand and think they are king. They are not as innocent as they claimed to be.

Having said that, I know one Thai ger, have a farang boyfriend in 1 country, Thai boyfriend in another country. Another with 2 BFs, both Thai men, 1 already married, another status unknown. The Thai men knew her status but doesn't seems to mind. And another who don't seems to mind if her BF sees another woman/prostitute while she is out of the country. Such is mentality behind the smile.

Thai ger will only follow Thai men.

Totally agree. Monogamy doesn't seem to exist in their dictionary I once asked this Thai guy (based in Singapore for quite a long period of time) whether he has a girlfriend. His reponse: "In Thailand, yes, have... But Singapore don't have."

End of the day, Thais will still stick to Thais. Thai men will always be Thai girls' number one and vice versa. All others are just "giks" or playthings to them.

The Thai wife is a good housewife in front of her husband. Cook and take care of him very well. They supplement their household income by renting out room to other Thai. However, after her husband goes to work every morning, the Thai wife start bringing her Thai boyfriend to f*** in the room. The other Thai tenants did not have the moral to tell the husband. Now it's awaiting the husband to find out one fine day.

Thai upbringing and culture is very very different from Singaporean. Good luck to you in your search for Tom Yum girlfriend' cheers.

However, i still think cohabit first for a good 5-10 years then married. Time has change man and the quote from ur seniors :'' its time to get married'' i dont think can apply animore in this modern society.

Put it ugly, human beings are so complicated nowadays be it male or female cos we are exposed to too many temptations! For me i will say, Test WATER first, never say you rich, dont treat her to grand restaurants and keep buying her branded bags lah. Special occasions still ok. NEVER be soft hearted until you time and time tested her and she REAL and means what she say and who she is(she is true to u lah)....

After almost a decade of seeing ugly side of women thanks comm fl scene, i learnt, Just dont brand urself as ROBERT first as give so much. Access her a good 3-5 years before you start ''investing'' in her. You will knoe if she really is the one that loves you anot based on the way she think and how she lead her lifestyle wif u and how she think of you in her life.

However, if she gets too close wif her guy friends and she suddenly indirect imply or hints says you cant satisfy her cos she tired of you or she greedy and want a more capable man in life, then u can find a better girl liao.
