Continue from the dinner.

When we reached hargen diaz at Siglap, it was already 9 plus. Went to the ice-cream counter and May decided that we share a sundae since our dinner was a rather heavy one. Therefore we ordered a double flavour sundae with chocolate for me and yam for her.

I was kinda of uneasy to share the ice-cream with her. Aiyah in fact I was paiseh. She sensed that too. So for the first few minutes we just chatted and let the ice-cream melted.... It's only when I realised that the flavour she ordered was yam then i jokingly started teasing at her.

Me:"Huh...so u order yam?"
May:"Yah...why?"

Me:"Yam= May and May=Yam!"
May:"hehehe.....yah hor! U idiot!"

Me:"No lah.e no idiot. Me smart leh."
May:"Yah lar Yah lar. reward u lor."

Then she just scooped a spoonful of yam and fed straight into my mouth. I was kinda of surprise and off-guard by her action. I can only react by opening my mouth and "Hpmmm" the ice-cream. Sounds stupid right?

After that we just savoured with the half-melted ice-cream. Occasionally we fed each other. We behaved like loving couple. At that instant, I was thinking shall I pop the question to her? But i just couldn't take out the courage....sigh! What a failure!!!!

At 5 minutes after 10pm, she hinted to me that she was rather tired and sleepy. So we just headed back to her place and see her off at her door step.

Now I just wondering if I were to ask her to be my girlfriend at that moment, what will be the outcome?

I guess I will have to wait for another opportunity, the right place and the right time then.

26/02/06 Sun, 1130hrs

May gave me a call. Asking me if I wanna lunch with her. Met up eventually for Dim Sum at Toa payoh central.

26/02/06, 1400hrs,

After lunch, kinda lost on where to go after that. Then I suggested prawn fishing at Marina South.

Me:"I was thinking if u are keen to go prawn fishing at marina south?"
May:"Hmmm...sounds new to me. Ok lets go."

Me:"U sure? It's going to be very hot and boring if u don't enjoy."
May:"Aiyah...I am a sunny girl ok. I am not those girls who will rather stay at home becos of hot sun. Furthermore, I never try on that so why not give it a try? Who knows I may love it. hahaha."

Me:"Then shall see huh."

So we got a cab and there we go.

26/02/06, 1430hrs.

Reached the place and I rented a rod for 2hrs. And in return an addition half hr free. Got a good place with shade and we began the prawning. I cut the bait and help May to hook the bait. Spent a few minutes guiding her on the technique on how to prawn. Finally after my "tender, loving coaching, she got her first catch after 10minutes. Not bad for a beginner.

For the next 2 hrs or so, we take truns to prawn. Can see that May was enjoying the fun and she was kinda reluctant to hand over the rod to me! So being a gentleman, I just let her have the rod most of the time.(urrr...it's the prawn rod not the other "rod" ok!)

After 2 & half hr of fun, it's time to go. We have caught over 25 prawns. And to be exact, it was about $0.95 cents per prawn! While on the way back to her place, our topic was just about the prawns. May in fact wanted me to bring again next time! Whereas for the catch, I gave it to her with also some tips on how to cook. ( I am an expert in cooking this fresh water prawns. Hehehe)

What a fruitful and enjoyable day with her. Sianz....tomorrow is monday! Got to work again in a brand new week! sigh......

Bro urger, ur story with May reminds me so much when i first went after my first gf sia, i also experienced the same thing below when she told me about going out on a date with another guy while I was posted abroad for a short assignment. The conversation over dinner was almost the same! Wats more amazing is when we also went for ice cream at Siglap after dinner at ECP altho it was not at Haagen Daz and it was not a jap dinner for us but its still pretty unbelievable at the similarity!!

really brought back some fond memories, keep up the good work and wish u all the best with May

I'm new to this forum here....saw this interesting title and read your story. It was really like reading a fairy tale story, yet it is a real life story. As I read, I can feel you are really interested in May. And I think you guys will make a great couple.
Of course, I am interested to know the latest development between you and May, so hope you will still continue to post it here and let everyone to share your joy of being in love with someone you are fond of.

Bro Urger, your thread reminds alot of us bros when we were chasing our gfs or those serious girls. Sure brings back memories for all of us. I believe your thread is unique and different which stands out. I enjoy the sweet conversations you have with May.
