The quietness on the Liverpool transfer market this summer is very disturbing. Certainly Liverpool need to further strengthen a few key positions are critical . With the headless chicken spearheading the strike force and the MC King is still around thinks doesn't look promising . I hope Liverpool don't loan out too many players and or release them if there are no more new players coming in.

Lacazatte going to Arsenal tells me that under certain circumstances top class players need not necessarily require CL as a prerequisite to joinning a club. Looks like Wenger and London was enough of a pull, apart from £££.

Wenger v Klopp, looks to be equal.

Unfortunately London v Liverpool, no fight.

Uncle is no football expert but can somebody pls explain why klopp is concentrating on only getting midfield players old uncle think we really need a striker that break down the "park bus" strategy employed by some teams that play us.

And for under £50m considering today's astronomical valuations!

I always thought top strikers/goalscorers would always fetch the highest premium compared to any other position. So how to justify £70m for VVD or Keita if a striker of the calibre of Lacazette is valued at below £50m?

We screamed our lungs out for CL. We have achieved it but what happens?

The club signed a player for a ridiculous fee whom we allowed to slip years back. We decided that 10m - 13m was way too much for him back then.

Now we clearly know who controls the transfers. Yet the fans wanted Brendan Rodgers out the door and I believe King Kenny also suffered the same fate during his short spell as manager.

It was great doing business with you FSG and we thank you for saving us. But the time has come to go our separate ways.
