Haha, to MoJoe313, $10,000 per month is average nia. Perhaps $6000 and below all considered low? Nothing wrong with aiming high though. Steve Jobs said, stay hungry, stay foolish

Depends on what sort of lifestyle you and your family want also. Two years ago there's a newspaper article of a family with 6 children, but the father is the sole breadwinner taking home $1800 per month nia. It can be done.

Aww......I'd love to take credit for this amazing discovery. But there are many statistics out there if you bothered to look, that shows the median income per person in sg is about $5,000 a month. Times two between husband and wife, and you will arrive at $10,000 a month.

Huh huh? That conflicts with the SingStats file I posted yesterday. You mean Singapore Census isn't accurate? O.o 50th percentile was less than 10000 per month for household income I think.

Yup. Hence you can't just take 5000 X 2 and say that median household income in Singapore is $10000. Some households have children who are working but still living there.

I need to be less sarcastic. Sorry. I think you misinterpreted me when I said Singapore Census was wrong.
