Bro Shawn, nobody can tell you how, everybody can help you think of a way but nobody can go inside your heart and wench her away.

Keep her in your heart, you'll slowly change to accept that it happened. On the positive side, at least she told you what you need to hear. Sometimes, they'll just disappear without reason and that is even more painful, its like she totally betray her words not to leave you. And that happened to me twice. But for both times, when I finally got to hear the truth from them, its doesn't matter anymore becos time has taken her away.

Bro shawn_mib, only time can heal the emotional pain which you are feeling now.

I have only recently come across your thread & followed your story with great interest. My conclusion is that your story is sad & I emphatise with you but the harsh reality is that she has made her choice to have security over love.

From what you have written, I don't doubt that she truely loves you but the power of $ & physical creature comforts have once again conquered the emotional needs.

If it is any consolation, IMHO, this story is an old universal one & being played out in the world constantly & not only between PRC WL & the client who later became a lover (as in your case) but also between non-WL & her suitors of whatever nationality.

It is my firm belief that females would choose security over love in the majority of cases. I think there is only in rare cases where true love prevails & the female chooses a poor man whom she loves over a rich man who can provide her with financial security, like in the movies.

My advice to you, like many others, is to move on. Yes, by all means treasure the sweet memories. You are still young. More experiences will come your way, for sure & with experience, you will definitely be wiser & who knows, your one true love will appear in the future.
