i hv never been to CA/CP/DG/MACAU/ZH.. real newbie to MM but been to other places in the region.. wanted to go but no kaki, so looking at the schedule posting earlier, seems like many bro are planning a rock solid time there..
my newbie questions:

1) Which hotel will be convenient (at least 3 stars up) for the purpose? how to book the hotels (webiste recommendation?)

2) Flights to shenzhen only limited to tiger (cheap but timing sucks) and silkair (lone traveler pays S$918 !!).. so was thinking landing in guangzhou instead, can anyone tell me how long it takes from CAN airport?? Can I just take a taxi to CP?? any bro has experience and advise how to do it?
