If u are talking about old men then not that they have too much money but most old men in this part of the world are taking pension, less than 2k USD per mth. This amount is miserable in their own country but they can live comfortably in developing country n maybe get a local lady to look after him.

One American navy Petty Officer whom I got to know during my army days is drawing a pension of only SGD$1800 after 28 years of service in the US Navy. This amount is not enough for him to live in the US and he has to bed in homeless shelters. So he has made SEA his home moving between PI / Malaysia / LOS & Cambodia..... at least he can have a roof over his head and lead a decent life here on his pension rather than be homeless back in the US.

So from what i have gathered. The few things i should take note of are:

1. If my hotel allows guests
2. Where are the local popular places
3. Average price of a girl.

So the thing is, im heading down to bangkok in December alone just to have fun. Any idea how a guy that cant speak a lick of thai not get scammed and get a girl every night?

Usually hotels that’s around asoke area is guest friendly.
If you first time to bkk adult playground then just stick to nana plaza and soi cowboy. Avoid wechat at all cost. Avoid Arab owned bars. Read more, google more on where tourist able to get girls in bkk, subsequently if above all fail,
