Save for the Defoe shot which hit the post, BM was no match for us.
Pool was totally dominant and intent on redemption for 3 pts.
Dropping Mane seemed to be a good move. Maybe Klopp was quite TL with him n didnt even give him a chance as sub.

The real challenge will come against Arse this coming Sat morning. Will really be a great morale booster if we can knock the Gunners off their fooking perch n boost our chances of finishing top 4.

2 interesting things caught my eye in this morning's papers.

A. Burnley currently 6th in the EPL Table have won 9 matches(same as Liverpool) and are just 2 points behind us. But what I find really interesting is when you compare Burnley's goal stats to ours!

In the 18 matches played, Burnley have scored 16 and conceded 12(which btw is joint top in conceding the least goals together with City and United), whereas Liverpool have scored 38(third highest after City and United) and conceded 20(joint lowest of the Top 7 together with Arsenal).

What does this all mean? Well obviously you don't need to score more than 1 goal a match to win and get those 3 precious points so long as you shut down your own net and don't concede any goals.

Perhaps Klopp needs to seriously look at a plan B with this in mind(to grind out results) for the remainder of the season, particularly when it comes to 'parking the bus teams'.


B. Quote from Klopp after the Bournemouth match: " They are good - that is why they are at Liverpool(Fab 4 etc) - but they need to be consistently good because we are Liverpool. We are consistent, but we have to be more consistent in decisive moments. At the WBA game (0-0), they were exactly the same players but they didn't hit the target. That's is because Liverpool's defense like shit . In order for Liverpool to get 3 points Liverpool must score more than 3 goals . Yes Ah Gong also believes that Klopp need a Plan B especially when playing against teams who like to sit all their players behind the ball .

On a good day, many teams are no match for Pool's attacking power. Even Mcity or Barcelona can be slaughtered! But this team blows hot n cold. They have no consistency, they can beat Arsenal 5-0 n they will lose to Huddersfield the week after. We have seen this many times over n over again n there will be more to come. Sad to say!

Rumour has it that Barcelona and Liverpool had agree on the price of 133 million euros for Coutinho . Now they are negotiating personal terms with the player .

I doubt FSG would sell Salah this season . He has been the best performer so far since his arrival better than Mane .

No way for instalments . Liverpool need the cash to buy players . It certainly would be nice if can include Suarez in the swap deal . On another better to sell off Can this January transfer window rather than in the summer where he will go for free. Ox can take Can's place and Lallana is coming back .
