Hi bro,
just feeling to give some opinion for your case as i myself have a china wife too.Not to splash cold water on you but i suggest that try to build your RS for abit while more.Marrying seems easy but alot of things must take into consideration which not only the PR issue,finding a decent job should not be a prob,but provided PR is granted.Erm..why not i share with you my story..

I got to know my wife in 2006 aug when she visit here for tour(anyway,she is from sichuan)and we still keep in touch after she went back.Due to the feeling too strong,i flew all the way to sichuan by myself in dec and over there we both decided to end our single life(By than we both are only 21)

Bcos im with the goverment sector,i will need to apply for an approval letter which tk up 3 mths of waiting time before i can tk ROM date.During this period of time,she is travel btw SG n china on my expense but everytime custom only grant her 2 wks n i have to tk leave n off n go dwn ICA for the whole day just to extend her stay for 2 more wks(can oso apply online but not cfm will pass)

During her stay here, she gt pregnant, and everything became so rush.Luckily we got the letter n we gt married in 2007 when baby is 5 mths than i apply the long term visit pass for her(another ICA trip).Remember that she have no fren no relative here so i have to be by her side all the time.After baby was born,here come the in laws prob.They wan to come over to visit(by than still staying with my parents)and due to cultural diff,the old ppl cant get along.

Okay, anyway,i apply for her PR (many many ICA trip) when she gt her 2nd long term visit pass(each last for 6 mths)as my records are clean so we gt it smoothly within 3 mths.After tt look for a house.As she have no job no CPF wad so ever,its another task,she will need to find a job n have at least 3 mths statment etc.

Than after we got the hse, as time goes by,found out tt we cant get along tt well, its not tt she dun treat me well,but due to cultural diff, sometime they dun uds the way singaporean do things.And also we dont know each other deep enough.And till recently,we are goin for conselling n mayb even facing divorce in the near future.

What im trying to imply is that Dont get marry too soon due to impulse,try to understand each other deeper.Tell her what she will be facing,and do put in lots of effort to explain how sg n china handle things.Bear in mind,if a quarrel do happen,she gt no 1 to turn to accept you, no where to go etc.the time need to sacrifice for your work which mayb will affect your performance.

I know this SYT PRC about 22yo who does excellent massage but never ever offer any specials. In fact always looks very uncomfortable if I strip to nothing. (me not Brad Pitt but me not THAT ugly!). I think she has the goods to do sexual services, but so far she's all clean massage.

Bro, i have the same thoughts as u initially but not anymore. Some of them used to be working as a pro in Shenzhen/Zhuhai but decided to work in S'pore becos they heard tat they can make much more money here without the need to open legs. Just enjoy their services and dun ever think of getting serious with them as their main purpose here is to make money.

I have found out alot about PRC women thru my own experiences. Majority of those whom i've met are great liars be it masseuse/FL/WL. Seeing is believing...for instance, 1 PRC masseuse is already a PR but lied to me tat she is a work permit holder, another one lied to me abt her real name & age and still gt the cheek to tell me tat if i dun trust her can dun look for her anymore. Even my PRC FB warned me not to trust any PRC woman working in S'pore.

I undersdtand your feeling as I have a failed marriage and now happily married to a PRC lady.

The culture indifferences and the old people indifferences are some issue in a marriage life. But with 2 heads together we can solve alot of problems.

I would suggest you hold your horses first before jumping into the conclusion of marrying her. The consequences can be very dear my friend. It takes some time to observe other people.

Back to your question, but I have another question before that. She graduated from which uni? those belong to tier 1 (eg those always see in news), tier 2 (zhong dian da xue, usually provincial top uni), tier 3 (chapalang uni, china have alot!)

She can work as arts teacher in calligraphy. Approach those art school test water.
She can work as tour guide based in sgp for cn tourist. Approach those tour company from china, they would have a site office in sgp.

Start off with S-pass (pay needs to hit 1.6k), then EP then after 2 years applying PR on her own. Take this window period to observe and monitor her.

the other way is set up a small company by you and her as a partner. Sell your calligraphy teaching service to CC

If her papers are questionable, DO NOT ATTEMPT to help her apply PR. This is a very serious offence

Get PR for her depends on more factors from you mainly if you are lawfully married. Time frame i dunno, some i i know get PR less then a year, some 3 years still only LTVP..

ICA do entry permit/visit pass..ICA do not do marriage application.

*Hv to extend her visit pass.(if actual day falls nicly on the following month)

2.Most prob u will apply LTVP(6mths or 1 yr if u heng).
*Apply LTVP here >lots of your infos of work/salary,her info from seeing doctors, infos etc.
PR is later stage that need more concrete current infos from you.

You can choose to go ICA take a Q number, talk to the officers there.They will gv u few piece of paper with "things & issue" to have/bring/do.

If your gf had been working in Singapore, I believe you need to seek approval from MOM too.

Mine is not PRC, just its neighbour.....ROC

She came over to Singapore, got a date for ROM and then apply for PR. I can't remember how long she got her PR, think is less than 6 months. I think when apply PR, the ICA will give an extended social visit pass for 6 months. If did not get PR by then, need to apply for extension again.

To ease the application of the PR, I think the guy must have a minimum of 30K per annum and the lady must be a graduate. Thats what I heard.
