Let me share with you my pal's experience with WL. My pal is not a poor guy but not really rich as well, he had quite a number of relationships that I know of and definitely had no problem with finding himself a girlfriend but he decided to settle with a WL.

Currently they are still together and talking about marriage. It all started when he went for a bonk and get to know this WL. At first, he said she is very good in sex which he really enjoyed and seems to have a personality that suits him as well. Then he started to RTF, after several times, the WL got to return to Thailand. 4. Looks good (definitely a stunner if you bring her out)
5. Knows how to cook and take care of the house (typical for Thais I guess)

Disadvantage:
1. Communication is a problem (my pal uses Google translation to communicate. I know, can learn too, but it takes time, and a long time to master a language)
2. Although she might have the heart to earn money herself, she doesn't have the means unless she opens her legs (I think)
3. Spending money to support her family and car and apartment is a long-term issue
4. Spend extra time to take care of her
5. If my pal is working, she either tacks along or stay at home (it is bad for business)
6. Family's resistance (my pal is having tons of this and is taking a toll on his mental side)
7. Threats of returning to Thailand as she thinks she is more of a hassle here in Singapore (I have heard it with my own ears and more than once)

I just briefly list out a few, but currently, my pal that used to go to mid-range meals and have free time for family and friends and crafting a career for himself is now down to cheapo meals (sometimes he skips) and his family is unhappy with him for finding a Thai girlfriend that no one can communicate with her and he had so little time for friends and even himself.

This is still ongoing, it may appeal to you, or even you might think you can take all these but honestly I am not really that into the idea though. By the way my friend is 28 this year and owns a IT company. From the looks of it, my guess is that he might had spent most of his savings already. No amount of advise is able to let him make a more practical decision. Just imagine the handphone bill is like.

Maybe my pal really likes her, but the practical side of it is really too taxing. Especially when in love, you would like to have her alongside you. So, do you want to spend tons of money for her to stay in Singapore with you or do you want to spend lesser money for her to stay in Thailand but don't know if she stays there just for you.

But problem comes when it comes to the following consideration from me:
1. What can she do in singapore if she quit as FL?
