police have arrested a 29-yo man who is believed to have broken into a jewellery shop at people's park complex on sept 21.

he reportedly made away with about S$300k worth of jewelry.

police detained the man on sept 26 at bt gombak mrt stn. a total of 404 pc of jewelry were recovered at his bt batok flat. police officers also found an assortment of cell phones & laptops in the flat which are believed to be stolen.

the suspect will be charged in court on sept 28 for housebreaking & theft by day.
