I looked at my Tag watch, it was already almost 11.30pm, I told her that we should be going as was late and I have got to work early (she can always go office later than me, she drives too). She stood up holding my hand in hers, fingers intercrossed. I let her be, maybe she felt that was more comfortable. And she just looked at me and smiled sweetly, (I'm not the handsome and hunky type) I just grinned back at her and we proceeded out of the place, hand in hand, like we're a couple. When we got in my car, she wanted to kiss me on my cheek, but I quickly told her off not to, as I'll not take advantage of her, of course she was not drunk with only just 2 glasses of light liqour.

Well nothing happened for the next few days, we were just normal with work and going 'home' to rest, going out for dinner ( no more close contact). The following week, some cheeky 'bastard' wanted to upskirt her by telling her to go up the mezzanine store to look for me, said that I wanted to see her. The stairs were those grated and not fully covered, she as the office lady has a dress code, in smart working blouse and tight 2- 3 inches above knee length skirt. I heard their conversation, sensed that something was wrong, I quickly walked out to the top of the stairs. She actually started to walked up the stairs, I stopped her, told her I'll be down after I pack some of the stuff. What a spoil sport I was, he got no show to see. I being higher in position, warned all the ground staffs no such thing will ever happened again. They were jealous and suspicious of the 2 of us, staying together and nothing 'happening'? I reminded them what kind of person I am. When I went to see her, she was grateful that I did not allow any harm to befall her. I told her I'll do the same for other office ladies too. Like I said before, I was not the handsome or hunky type, she still found me attractive.

I later found out from her why she was recruited to the office. It was because my cheeky boss (he likes to drink and womanise at any chance he gets) saw her working at one of the pub he frequented, part-timing as a waitress, so just talking and offered her the office job (better paying and less sleazy). I was doing work on project basis, that was why I had to stay in the rented house (which was in the neighbouring country) and my family was in Singapore. I missed my wife and children alot, calling them daily at least once a day. I'm portrayed as a hardworking husband to my wife and a loving father to my children. She was from another state and escaping from a very unhappy BG problem. Soon she found that I was very compatible with her, looking after her well being, protecting her, helping her with her wet laundry etc.
