Please continue, this is a good thread to warn others on the dangers of gambling.
In moderation and having some fun is still fine, but once addicted could bring severe consequences. If you are not able to be in control, this is one expensive hobby to avoid. |

One minute you are saying you want to help your friend, next minute in the same breath, you push your friend onto a suicidal path by engaging a loan shark to kill him?? If a child ever asks me what is the meaning of "ironical", I will ask the child to take a good look at your action. You epitomise the ultimate meaning of "ironical". |

Re: A route of gamblers
As in earlier posts, the odds are always with the house. Take "pontoon" for example, a set of value "10" cards are taken away (K,Q,J or Ts) ie. you will be playing without one of these set in the shoe. So your chances of getting either a "black jack" or "21" on doubling when the opprtunity arises is greatly reduced.
On general, most of the games offered here doesn`t give you an even chance of winning. CRA is not helping to improve the odds for player, as they know nuts about gaming. Shall not go into details. Thus it is best to stay away.

Re: A route of gamblers
Why gamblers always lose in the end?
1. Because the game(s) are design in such a way that the bankers got better advantage. Conversely speaking, players always lose in the long run..This explains why the casino floor has got so many similar betting tables. 2. Greed. Once they win, they want to win more. If lose, they want to recoup losses. Hence in this case, there is no ending..gamblers keep betting and therefore lose in the end because "ALL" games are designed for the bankers to win or rather higher probability.. 3. Style of betting - if you lose, you double up. causing you to die even faster, however, if you win again, most people don't double up hence causing you not to win even more. In summary, if you lose, you lose a lot. But if you win, you win little.. 4. Capital - If you don't have much capital to bet. My opinion is that mostly likely you end up losing. Betting also requires capital. If you lose 1K and you have got another 1k on hand, the probability of you winning back the 1k is quite less. However, if you have 1 million on hand and u lose 1k, the chances of you winning back 1k is very very high. 5. Knowing the rules - Gamblers need to know the rules of each game by hard before entering the game.. 6. Machine - Machine are programmed in such a way to make you excited but lose in the end. Is all pre program. Trust me.. |

Re: A route of gamblers
For those who cant stop going to the casino thinking of winning back their hard earned money back..i would strongly advice you to go to the internet, website as follows: http://www.knowtheline.sg/draw-the-l...-measures.html and apply for self exclusion.
PS: Nobody makes it rich by gambling |
