Then out of nowhere, a huge bouquet of roses sprang up right in my face. Startled, I fell back a few steps. There standing with the flowers was this guy who had been going after me for quite some time. He was one of the pupil's uncle (Leroy). Oh no! He's going crazy again ..... I thought to myself.

"Teacher Wicked, guess Teacher's Day is the right and ripe time for me to ask you be my steady girlfriend though my first attempt on Valentine's Day failed." Leroy said aloud in front of the parents and students.

Damn him! Already explained many times impossible liao .... Why still so persistent. Now I must handle the situation tactfully. If not would end up as gossip topic around the estates here.

As I was struggling with an answer, someone spoke up "她已心有所属了， 我是她的真命天子！＂I was in for a big surprise when I saw who was that. Owen!!! He spoke rather fluent mandarin this time. We embraced together and kissed.

"Why you here?" I asked.

"I'm here cos u stole my heart away a year ago. You were so hardhearted to cut off all communication means. But, I tell you I never give up on my mooncake. I went to learn Chinese for the past one year, hoping to close up our gap."

Owen put the engagement ring onto my finger drawing loud applause from the morning audiences. Tears were streaming down my face by now. He gently wiped them off. We were hugging closer than earlier. We were engrossed in our very special moment as if the world only revolves around us both.

In the background, I remembered vaguely hearing the following conversations.
" That bad guy molests Teacher Wicked and made her cry. Evan , quick go tell Principal call police!"
Hahaha .... That was my little class hero, Zhen Yi.
"You boys so silly! Mummy said boy gives girl ring means marry hor. Like prince and princess live happily together ma!" exclaimed my sweet Winnie.

Owen and I had our wedding photoshoot during the winter. He held on to the rein while I was riding on the fine Black Beauty with the shiniest fur. He caught me in the nick of time when I almost fell on the ground.

"Thanks dear!"
"Just remember I am always here for you, my mooncake." After saying so, Owen planted a deep kiss onto my lips. The photographer caught those moments from falling to kissing. Today, if you have the chance to set foot at my house, you will see the photos framed up, settling neatly on one of the living room wall.
