Hmmm.... just wondering about MM Lee's recent open-mindedness about homosexuality.

2 thoughts came to my mind:

1. He is wooing votes from the Singapore gays - an all-inclusive Singapore? Is homosexuality gaining more acceptance from society? Perhaps, he knows of a few talented gays in the Civil Service & even Government?

2. He is wooing more gay FTs to come to work in Singapore & maybe eventually be naturalised Singaporeans. As sexual orientation tend to be more liberal in some other countries, maybe some FTs are reluctant to come to the Little Red Dot because of the sodomy laws? Hence, the need to be seen as more tolerant & accepting of gays?
