Bro....guess most of us have experienced this before. The only different is that some of us can recovered faster than the others.

It was abrasions, then the sore started to fester and there was creeping on the skin with a very fluid pus like discharge. I thought to myself, this time si liao, then I remembered I had seafood dinner the day before, lots of crabs, prawns and cockles. No wonder the sore started to act up with the toxin buildup. Thanks for the recommendations. Someone mentioned anti-fungi cream, but I never like gooey stuff placed on the rod but it gave me an idea to use pharmaceutical grade potassium permanganate solution. This solution is caustic and an oxidiser but being water-based will actually burn quite painlessly into the skin. (I hope scarring would occur and provide me a leathery base for future assaults) I applied it undiluted to the sore 3 times daily. I subsequently cut down the frequency of the dosage to prevent poisoning, as to my horror I can see my mushroom changing colour on the base. Now it has become better and the spot which was weak is starting to build up tissue. Now I only use water to clean it.

Currently the biggest challenge is to mend the walls of the dam and channel the flows properly at a later date. Will ask the WL to use a condom with a HUGE reservoir tip to prevent accidental exp osion.
