Recently, I came across an online ad in a mandarin room rental website.

The ad wrote that got room in a HDB flat that can be rented out for 2 hours at $30. And if rent 1 day the ad wrote the rental is $90.

I was shocked.

Out of Curiousity, I called that handphone number listed in the ad.

a guy with a strong malaysian lian bang qiang accent answered the call and he spoke in mandarin. He said he rented the whole flat and he has a vacant room for 2 hourly rate rent and 1 whole day rent.

Very Shocking what this malaysian tenant is doing

There are some 3/4 star hotels with day use rates, meaning for a few hours, not overnight, not exactly transit either.
