Money was not a problem for them.
I did not know much at the time, all I knew was given a job sheet with the equipments that I need to bring my personal items and differents sets of clothing gear. The whole team is going to spend a total of 5 days there.
Senior photographer, assistant (me), makeup artist, stylist and Wedding Planner.

We were to fly in a day before the couple arrive and check out the locations of the shoot and prepare the necessary props.

Going thru my list, Nikon D4 x 1 unit, D3s - 2 units, lens 70-200mm f/2.8 x 1 unit
24-70mm f/2.8 x 2 units, 85mm f/1.4 x 1 unit , 200mm f/2.8 x 1 unit 14-24mm f/2.8 - 1 unit, SB-900 x 4 units , Elinchrom Quadra x 2 sets , beauty dish + adaptor x 2 units.

I hated carrying around the beauty dish although it gives a good even lighting but it’s like a chinese wok to travel and I have to bring 2 on this trip, Most importantly was the eye-fi SD cards and the iPads. This is a service where we impress our clients, after the shot is done it immediately uploads to the iPad and shown to client the result of the shot.
Macbook pro and air, external backup drives x 5 units. Usually 1 person of the crew keeps one after the shoot in case of losing any pictures or corrupted files on the hard disk.

Already with the gears I have to pack and in my clothing gear it had written a formal attire, jacket, long sleeve, tie, black leather shoes apart from my normal attires of usual jeans and polo T-shirts.
Kind of strange I thought but anyways clients pays my salary.

All camera gear packed into 2 Lowepro computerkker rollers, Other equipment can be checked in packed into Pelican cases.
On the day of travel I had to take care of 5 bags in total. This is going to be a very tiring trip.

On arrival, we were picked up by a sweet looking local guide. Transfered to the hotel. Luckily we are at 5 star hotels, coincierge would help with the amount of luggages we have.
The couple booked a villa for themselves, we were each assigned a room, as usual I took the last key available. We walked to our rooms, I was also checking out the locations. Maybe the couple wants us to shoot them there.

My room had a sea front view, my thought to myself, how nice if I was just to laze around and enjoy the luxury.
Fast Forward, the location shoot, the stylist forgot to bring along the outdoor changing room. I was called to hold up a big cloth for Janet to change in private.
The position the stylist asked me to stand facing the sun. Janet went in to change, she was totally nude, the sun shine and the sihoulette projected her whole body on the cloth that I was holding.

I wished I could capture this shot, it would be a great memory shot for the bride if they are open minded on these genre.

I just maintain my stand holding the cloth not to mention my bottom standing pole. It can be embarassing. Janet got herself into the gown was a relief for my hands but more importantly a relief on my strain at my pants.

The session went as planned, there were glimpse of her ‘down-gown’ at there were so many movements and poses to get that ‘perfect’ shot.

………. Now I’m seeing her body shape in another sexy manner. I made eye contact with her, she gave me a smile and a nod station that she knew what happen just now between me and Christine.

We all got dressed and met at the spa exit, all looked happy and relaxed. Somehow I have this feeling the other ladies was eyeing me as if they know a secret.

We boarded the transfer bus, that took us on the tracks of the resort to the main lobby where our MPV waited for us. It was about 1 hour journey before we get back to the Yacht Club and go back on board to the ASEAN Lady…………

Most opted for steamboat as all wanted to enjoy the sea breeze during the evening.

The chef and crew on board prepared the ingredients for dinner while I took my camera to capture the beautiful scenery mother nature paints for us to end of each day.
Indeed was a great sunset with a touch of clouds it was a perfect orange hues. Thanks to the newer technology in cameras the dynamic range are able to freeze that moment for us to enjoy for many years to come.

I was so immerse capturing the frozen moment, a light tap over my shoulder send a shock to my body. I wondered who it was, only to turn around to see Janet.

“Are you not taking a rest like the rest of them?” “No, I had my rest during the massage, just came out to see what you are creating?”

“Nothing much, just to document as much moments as possible for this trip as instructed. Hope to build a nice picture story for your group”

Janet smiled “You already did a great job for me for my pre-wedding shoot”
“I cannot take the credit, my senior did most of the work, I was just trying to cover more candid moments”

“That’s what I like for the whole shoot, the candid moments brought back many moments for me” she said happily.

“How’s the baby taking this trip?” as I’m running out of topic to converse

“She’s doing well, excited I guess, keeps kicking” grabbing my hands to fell her tummy. I felt the little kicks, it was amazing!!

“I’m privileged for you to share this experience, why not allow me to capture some of your moments and emotions against the sunset.”

I got Janet to pose and very quickly the lighting was set up to capture some moments for her to remember.

Some shots I did with lightings stronger from behind to show some skin being translucent shadow in the picture, the result was stunning. Took a few more as the window of opportunity of the background is getting smaller. It turned dark very fast.

We sat down on the rattan big settee to review some pictures, she leaned over my shoulders with her full swollen breast resting just below my shoulder. Soon she was leaning her head on my shoulder. I thought this was getting intimate.
