Last time no one will sverve into your lane but now when see girl inside your car, carjacked you 2 and gang-rape the girls.. even in brightly lit "safe" petrol stations, pregnant woman can be carted off to be raped in front of own 3 year old kid. Malaysia is utterly hopeless. All these talks about modernising etc, yes to some extent because the whole wrold is modernising too. Sad to say that malaysia is a country run by world inept leaders and they wont come far, really. Every year they will threaten this and that, threaten about cutting singapore water last time.. threaten the other races not to mess around with them etc. The malays up north are deeply inferior creatures, and utterly incapable of running even a kindergarden.

Be wary when driving alone at night
Report from The STAR dated Thursday 15 November 2007 :-
Letter to The Editor : Be wary when driving alone at night ON Nov 2, I was robbed by a gang while on my way back home from office. The incident occurred about 9.30pm when I was slowing down to stop at the traffic light at Phileo Damansara 2, Petaling Jaya. My car was the last in the queue and there were a few cars in front of me and on my right side. A motorcycle with two persons on it stopped in front of me and both men were looking at me. I turned to the left side and noticed another guy standing beside my window and there was a motorcycle there as well. I thought nothing could happen as my car doors were locked. Then I saw the guy who was standing on the left side of my car using a heavy object to smash the front left window and then put his hand in to take my handbag placed on the seat. I held on to my handbag but he managed to pull it away. The group sped-off after making a U-turn at the traffic light. The whole thing happened so fast I couldn’t note the number plates of the two motorcycles. I then drove straight to the SS2 police station to make a report. Later, I contacted the banks to freeze my savings account and credit cards. I lost my identity card, driving licence, ATM cards, digital camera, thumbdrive, mobile phone, crystal, house keys, passport photos, Biodisc and cash. The next day, someone found my handbag dumped outside the Andalucia Condominium in Pantai Dalam. When I went to recover my handbag, the only things left behind were my business cards, some of my make-up , credit cards and my old driving licence. The lesson that I learnt is to take extra precaution while driving alone at night. Please remember not to put your handbag at any visible spot in your car, especially the front passenger seat. Even if your car doors are locked, this does not mean that the snatch thieves are going to let you off just like that. Though I am upset and angry over the incident, I am thankful that I was not hurt. To all women drivers, please be extra cautious when you are on the road alone, especially at night. Others have written before of how important it is to "blend with the locals". If you swagger around the way you would at Raffles Place in JB, obviously you're inviting problems - big ass problems. Keep all those expensive & valuable stuff away. Flaunting your possessions is just downright stupid. If you're a smiley and giggly individual, put an immediate halt to it as soon as you've crossed the Causeway. Keep the antennae up. Use your peripheral vision; scan your surroundings. Steer clear of any hot spots or notorious locations eg back alleys, unlit roads, etc. I often come across young girls cackling away in downtown JB; especially around the City Square, Komtar, & the Art Plaza vicinities. They're petite young girls. These girls know where it's safe for them to be at. In so doing, they've effectively avoided any unfortunate mishaps from befalling them. The same concept applies to us guys too. Know where to be at. Know what's taking place around you. And most importantly, be prepared to rumble if there's ever a need to do so. Somehow, I'm just really amused as to how a handful of you guys actually allow yourselves to be fearful of an unseen threat. |

Re: Be wary when driving alone at night
Lucky I have solar shield on my car. On 2 occassion while at traaffic lights in crowded traffic in BROAD DAYLIGHT, someone on bike used HAMMER trying to smash my passenger seat when they saw laptops or wallets etc. They hammer but the windscreen was protected and dint break. I honked and they sped off.
Ever since I dont put valubles there, not so bad. Quote:

Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
For us regulars at JB, it is normal to be 100% more defensive when we are up there.
I used to think how the crime rate in JB was blown out our proportional. Ever since i drive singapore cars into Johor for work, I have encountered many unforunate incidents, esp around my workplace around the city centre at one point in time. Every day, there will be at least 2-3 snatch theft just within an area of 1km square. Young girls are together in crowded area so not too bad. My fren 's gal friend was alone buying food and was DRAGGED into a back alley by one strong indian man with shirt ripped off and the suspect fled when her cries attracted the coffeeshop owners... Its broad daylight. When in JB, when u are down on your guard against so -called " unseen threat", they will appear. However let's just keep the name calling and condamnation to a bare minimum. This thread was created just to let bros be aware about the would-be dangers of JB and maybe how to take certain precautions. IMHO, name calling and being racist will not help anything.

Well, it's ok to let bros be aware of the dangers in JB but I personally feel that racist remarks should not be encouraged.

As regards Orgasmic bro: To fill her tummy, your friend's GF should have just stuck to those eateries that could be found in City Square. There's plenty of eateries there. You said it yourself - she was alone. Upper & lower areas of Wong Ah Fook Rd & the shophouses' area of Trus/Dhoby Rds - these locations are somewhat deserted, especially at night. Of course, young prostitutes & TSs excluded for the latter. Meldrum Walk is boisterous with activities. All types of characters could be found there. If you feel you're not up to it, don't venture there. It's the same thing - know where to be at & know your surroundings. Different places, different sets of rules fellas. |

Girl, 11, hit in the head with hammer
Report from The STAR dated Friday 16 November 2007 :-
Girl, 11, hit in the head with hammer MUAR : An 11-year-old pupil of SK Chung Hwa Tiga was rushed to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital with what is believed to be a cracked skull, after a motorcyclist hit the back of her head with a hammer. Lim Kae Yin and her mother Aree Sea Lim, 42, were on a motorcycle headed for her school when a man holding a hammer stopped them at about 7.15am on Friday. The woman told the police that when they saw the man, they stopped and she then urged Kae Yin to run from the spot but the man chased the girl and hit the back of her head with the hammer. She said her daughter fell onto the road with blood oozing from her head and the man then turned towards her and wanted to attack her but fled when he saw some cars driving in their direction. She said a passing motorist then took her and her daughter to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital. She later went to the police station to lodge a report. Muar police chief Asst Comm Mohammad Nasir Ramli, who just took over the post on Friday, rushed to the hospital to check on the girl. He said the girl was still unconscious when he went to the hospital. He was told that she would be sent to Johor Baru later as her injury was serious. "We do not know the motive behind the attack and we also do not think the man was a snatch thief. "We urge members of the public who witnessed the incident or have information on the attacker to come forward," he said. --- KatoeyNewsNetwork |

Speaking at the passing over of duties between outgoing Muar OCPD ACP Mohd Nizar Mohd Ali and new OCPD Mohammad Nasir Ramli he said the public too should cooperate on the matter. "It is important for the department to collect all information about crime and criminals and we now want to beef up our intelligence team. "It is also important for the public to pass whatever crime-related information they have to the police," he said at the Muar police station on Friday.
