I once almost got rob by kid beggars. Between ministop and devera. 5-6 kids came and surround me. Few will distract you by asking for money while the rest will shovel into ur pocket. Luckily I was alert enough and managed to block them hands. My barfine shouted at them and chased them away. LOL.

i had similar experience at the junction of santos st joining to the main st. i was waiting for my friend and a bunch of kids trying to distract me infront by kicking and playing with some cans while i sensed someone coming close me from behind. i quickly dodged but still felt his hand brushing my back pocket. ofcuz it was empty.

The Polling Days for the Elections is over 5 days from 9-13th May 2013.
There is a ban on the consumption of alcohol on these days. However, this year's ban is different from the previous bans imposed. Previously the ban only applies to Filipino citizens and cover outdoor public places so the bars were still allowed to serve alcohol to foreigners. This coming ban applies to ALL regardless of locals or foreigners. So that means if you go bar hopping, the bars can only serve you non-alcoholic drinks.

2ndly, all available security personnel (police, military, barangay vigilantes) have been reassigned to Election duties for that period so crime is expected to soar and everyone is advised to take extra precautionary measures to safeguard themselves and their property. To put it simply.... it means there will not be any policemen on patrol for crime duties.

That would depend on the election results... in previous elections violence was a common theme as supporters of the rival factions fight each other as they become emotionally charged. For those who happen to be there during the elections... remember NEVER TALK POLITICS with any local..... you are in a no win situation.

However, the lead up to the elections so far has been good.... the shootings have not start yet so maybe this election may not be so violent as previous ones.

arrrived midnite in clark n settled down hotel 2am then to fields for supper.
Finally ended in magaritas for some pool games.
