I still remember years back GLobe was the major service provider.

Then came Smart.

Both were expensive.

Only now there is competition and Sun amongst other providers exist bringing rates down.

Now local texts r pretty cheap compared to back then.

Yeah, then Smart bought over Digitel (Sun) and the previous owner of Sun (the owners of Cebu Pacific) have become minority .....

The scene is normal as if before the raids. Bars are in full swing except for the few that's closed. Which is good news for anyone scheduled to come. Hotels are showing rooms available.
Dragons Den above Club Asia had its grand opening tonight and I was there at 6pm onwards. Wonderful party with plenty of girls and good food. Drinks at 95p and EWR at 1500p. Part of the Dollhouse Group. Some nice shows, pole dancing and cultural dance performance. Even a dragon dance on stage with firecrackers. Best of all was body painting.
Went to other bars and numbers are down ie.. Customers and sales.
Weather is intermittent showers. Exchange rate at Normas is 34.60p to S$1.

I did not say AC will be gone forever mah. Just say become botak avenue but of course also like I said they may bounce back in no time!

Wonder is it worth visiting AC. I very green when comes to bar scene as I do not drink and do not have the habit of going to bars.

Finally some good news for us to smile about. Wish I could've made it to the Grand opening with you as I always like those. They treat you very nice hoping for you to get the "good" 1st impression .
Oh, I do miss the body painting, especially in the days when we were the real artist using them as our painting canvas.

Just wondering if the gals at Dragons were the ones displaced when other bars closed or a whole bunch of newbies. Can't wait to go back to AC now for recon mission.

AC always worth a visit if you have the time (money wise - not much needed compare to other locations, only places cheaper maybe some places in China but don't think can compare the service for the same price though but thats a guess as I'm not an expert in China.)

No problem if you don't drink (lucky you as I've been known to drink "like a fish"). Just order bottle water or soda and enjoy the places you go into. Some of the gals I've been with actually prefer guys that don't drink as they had bad experiences from "drunks" so this could be to your advantage sometimes.

And of course "habits are made to be broken" and going to AC bars is a good time to start--IMO

Give a yell when you plan to be there and if anyone of us are also there at the time could hook up and get you started on the road with no return.

Just saw a teaser ad from Airasia.

Said to watch out for a surprise on July 12th. 12am GMT=8 (whatever that means) Didn't say anything more than that so just wanted you guys to watch for it as it could be one of those 1 day big air sales or at least I hope so???

Now if the Airasia ad is a good one with a good promo prices then AC here I come and all are welcome to join me for a few beers (or sodas for those non drinkers)

Was thinking of upping some of you guys here but notice my power =1 so may not be worth trying as its not much to play with yet. Sorry as I will wait abit until I get my powers up and then could make a bigger impact for everyone I owe. Will post more once I get some free time away from family and work.

rs07: Update was forthcoming cos The Lord ordered it a few days ago. Also I guessed lots of brothers want to know.
On the surface, everything looks normal but I did look at the door wondering whether I will see a man in FBO coming in and me given a free ride to Manila. Eventually missing my budget airline flight and getting free worldwide publicity. Cos they categorize being present in a bar as being party to human trafficking etc.

Hahahaha: We are both alike. I don drink alcohol but I visit bars to play pool. Never to mingle with the girls but only looking looking. Mingling cost money cos they love minglers and will do their best to make you SPEND. For me its a lose lose situation cos if I don SPEND, they be disapointed cos they failed. My policy is to buy a second drink if I stay a bit longer and in between, I would push 20-50p into my waitress hand.

PT: You are correct to say that the girls are displaced girls. In fact some are the girls from Golden Nile and Cambodia. But there are so many girls there to choose from. So if you want a newbie, look at the back of the stage and look for the "blur" one who feel like a fish out of water. Correct me if I am wrong.
I had a wonderful waitress who kept insisting my bill was 1595p and not 95p cos she WANTS me to barfine her and promised long time. 21 years old and model like body. I almost paid the 1595p. But remembered I already lined up my companion for the night with my NOKIA.

Thanks for the tip. Regretfully AirAsia suits the Malaysians more cos they don do a Sg>Clark or MNL route. I have used AirAsia in the past when I did my maths and flying via KL was much cheaper then a direct Sg>Clark. Usually during Christmas period when Tiger goes up to S$700 return.

But I will see whether any cheap flight for my Sg>Bkk trips on that day.

A sweet little bird from AirAsia told me they have a "free seats" promotion coming up for their 3rd anniversary celebrations....... dunno if it is the same promotion you are talking about.

But there is a catch....... you must be a member of the AirAsia club to enjoy the promotional free seats.

Personally for me I dun like flying AA ever since they entered into the Indian subcontinent sector cos I cannot tahan the ah neh smells....... the smell lingers even after they have disembarked and AA has not been able to solve this problem despite numerous feedbacks and complaints.

Good to know that everything is back to normal.the golden Nile building including blue nile exective is close,becos of no permit I heard.the girls were spread to other clubs like genis and dirty duck.including the in famous daddy's girl whose barfine is 4000peso at golden Nile become 1800 at other bar.
