Afterall peppering the stories with some local singlish adds flavour and comedic value for the reader. Correcting the grammar of fellow forumers uninvited is perhaps the worst and the most annoying thing YOU can do... Not everyone places as much emphasis as you and I would when it comes to grammar. Especially not in an informal setting such as this. Then again, it isn't necessary to project the Queen's English on every occasion. It would only serve to get you noticed as an obnoxious prick. I do hope for your sake you don't go around correcting the grammar of people you come into contact with. Lest someone decides to shove Longman Dictionary's Latest Edition in your pie hole. PS: If you do feel that the local English standards is slipping into deplorable levels, might I suggest you start giving pro bono tuition to 12 year olds? Perhaps you could start with your neighbour's kids rather than educating a bunch of working adults on the finer points of grammar on a forum that emphasises on dirty deeds than language proficiency. To sum up... RELAX and ENJOY the stories lah!!!
