SC, in a way I am doing the same, tho with different motivations. Apply PR will do asap, once qualify. Citizenship - not urgent. Kids can have dual citizenship in meantime, so why reject it?

Dun see the land as gift for her, more ours (at least for now). But really, most fundamental reason is I used it as a chance to get rid of some irritating no-nos that we dun need. But I did tell her I know the risk is there that I have no legal claim to it.

Buy Condo in BKK or nearby is cos we should be living/working there and condos make sense. Rental only for short-term. But I will probably buy with both our names. And it haz a higher priority than building the house on that land we now have. I will see how things go when we get nearer. Anyway, I am aware of the risks and if I am not prepared for it, I won't even be thinking of living there. Can always make her come here - just that I prefer to go up.

Kids can have dual citizenship till a point of time where they have to choose between Singapore or Thailand passport.

Kun Potato, if u wonder why I posted something that seems like a Letter to my tirak, it is because it is! Except the original is written in Thai. Then faxed it to her 2nd sister at her office who then delivered to Film that evening. I am experiencing one case where her need for money is both large and genuine. The family stay in province and I haven't seen the family. You ask me 50K baht in province spend on what, I also don't know. The one thing I know is 50K baht to the thais is like $5000 to us in Singapore.
Not going to comment before I see the family status. But I never say I going to give her that money.
6 months later, she gave me a "discount". 30K baht is enough for the family monthly and she will work in MP to top up the rest and not go overseas to work.
In my mind I thinking, like that might as well I don't give at all. Might as well you go overseas work earn money once everything paid off then come look for me.

Never commit yourself to them if you are not going to do it. Or else they be disappointed and we give empty promises look bad on us too.

If the family say 5000baht enough, I don't even mind top up to 10K make it swee swee for them. 50K baht monthly can do many things. If the family is out to con me and I really love the girl so much to the extent......(don't say much, Read my signature)kekekee

Just for laughs, don't think too much.

My friend got mia noi, only 30K monthly and somemore is penthouse model. Guess different people have different needs and wants.

Actually I just put the signature for fun.....I admit that I'm one of those jao chuu guys. I had difficulty changing my lifestyle until my gf was pregnant and since I had control myself through commercial sex only. But I'm still confused whether will me and my gf last long enough cos there are still a lot of agendas to be sort out. Unlike you having a mature gf which is different and she knows what are the Dos and Donts. Maybe my gf isn't mature enough or she has too many friends instigating her. Like for one instance, she forced me to finance her new honda jazz even the old toyota vios is just 3 yrs old. No need to confuse or cuntfuse. When you love this girl, whether she is pregnant or not, you will not think of being jao chuu. Simple as that. If you really love your girl, another swee girl stand naked let you fuck free, you also will not do it.

Thai men are abit different from us Thancharts (In my opinion)
