The bottom line is Konate is extremely good when fit, also only 22 years old.

I hope his trajectory is the opposite of Keita's. Naby was a potential star but unfortunately appears to have become an injury prone washout instead.

Konate hopefully shrugs off the niggles and fulfils his potential.

Perhaps we can return Keita to Leipzig and get Konate in a swap

Phillips definitely keep. Rhys needs a lot more game time experience. Loan him out. Davies I suspect we bought to make a quick profit. So probably keep him and give him some game time to market. Also helps that he is from England.

Apart from defence, think we need to find a replacement for Gini and another forward player as well.

Last season Liverpool were really unlucky to be against opposition players, referees and VARs.

VVD was whacked by Everton Pickford and nothing happened.
VAR disallowed at least 10 Liverpool goals.
Most refs will disallowed Liverpool goals unless is clear goal.

Liverpool lost points to Fulham, Newcastle, West Brom, Soton, Chelsea, Burnley, Brigthon, Leicester and Everton.

A season Liverpool can forget because long term injuries to 3 senior CBs.

Davies was bought before Kabak loan deal confirmed. Also because Preston wanted the Van Berg deal.

Klopp sees players during every training and he can feel if players ready to play first team.

Konate deal is sealed and will signed. No chance for swap deal with Keita.

I am sure Liverpool will sell Keita if there is a buyer.

We also need good back ups for our left back and right back. We cannot expect Robertson and TAA to keep clocking up the minutes and maintaining good form for an entire season. Robertson needs some rest.

Next season we will play even more matches due to the expanded CL. Plus lose players to African Cup of Nations. We need more players.

I was ecstatic when DDG missed the sudden death shoot out! From the way they played last night, scums don't deserve to win the Europa Lg! The whole blady season they had been so lucky with all the VAR decisions. Still couldn't forget the Brighton/Manure match where they were awarded a penalty even after the final whistle was blown!

Ole is still a Cardiff City manager but with better players

Think Ed Woodward just extended Ole's contract at United. Best news I have heard(if true) since we finished 3rd on Sunday

Said this before on this forum and will say it again, United will never win a big trophy(PL & CL) with Ole at the wheel. He is tactically clueless and seems to pin all his hopes on his big players(Bruno, Pogba, Cavani, Rashford etc) to save the day. When this does not materialise, United are screwed. Look at what happened just before extra time, instead of Ole giving a pep talk to his players, I saw Mike Phelan giving them instructions instead

When I heard Conte had just left Inter after winning the Scudetto no less, was worried he might go to United. Even Zizou and Poch might now be available.

Very glad United still seem happy with Ole though. Long may this continue!

I rate Poch. Was worried he might go to United. Thank goodness that has not happened as yet. For him to return to Spurs think Levy would have to promise to buy him a couple of players that he wants.

On Zidane, PSG is a possibility. Juve is NG though as Allegri already appointed once again.

Tuchel is another interesting one and I also rate him. Tough one tonight for him though because think City have the momentum. That said the ball is round.

It has been close to a day since the news of Konate's transfer went through. No one commented or posted news about it.

Underwhelming transfer? His injury record is not so good.
