Went to goldpoint sentosa last few days. Just a short update of the nasi lemak available...

Quite surprise to know that there is a major changes in the restructuring of staff.

No GST charges probably turnover less than half a million ringgit.

Fifi & Luna were no longer there leow.

Instead, they managed to get 2 ex-nasi lemak girls to come back to sentosa :

Erin came back to gp sentosa not long ago. She was a young milf but her massage/batin was awesome. Should say among all the masseuses, she is the most experience and best in terms of massage. Her massage is engaging, not piano, her smooth hand and her method of massage can make one feel so comfortable until like want to sleep. I already boycott this MP for a year plus. I even have a free massage session (after 10 visits) which I have not use. Don't even intend to use it anytime soon, low quality gals, bad massage, this cannot that cannot, expensive, lousy facilities. Would prefer the previous MP at this same premises. Since GST has been implemented in msia, many business / outlets has revised their price. For example:

1) Taxi fare increase

a) Flag down fare increase from rm3.00 to rm3.30

b) Journey fare increase from 85cents to rm1.25 every kilometre travelled.

c) Time fare increase from 10 sens every 21seconds to 25sens every 30seconds. Which means you will need to pay extra rm30 if there is a traffic jam for one hour which is possible if you are travelling to custom during a peak period. (1min=50sen, 60min=3000sens)

2) Food price increase

Many restaurants and food outlets have also raised the menu price. Example sushi king, kfc, etc.

3) Massage fee increase

Some massage joints have also raised their price. example goldpoint no more early bird rm50 offer and batin price up by rm10. Bluewave early this year up their massage fee too, etc.

If not because of the good exchange rate (today record high at 271.6), I doubt sporean would want to spend in JB anymore.

One thing we noticed in Johor, whenever a new building is newly built or a business premises are renovated, there is lack of maintenance and upkeep the standard of the premises after a period of time and the condition was left to deteriorate. This was never the case in spore with planned maintenance.

Talking about goldpoint facilities, the shower head of both cubicle in permas branch toilet were not functioning, the mattress in sentosa branch also need replacement and also leaking air-con need to be rectified.

The management should pay attention to all these minor details so as to create a more pleasant environment for their customers.

As for the towel, I did smell many time, the fragrance was there therefore don't worry the towel is definitely been washed and cleaned..

Indeed the quality of the girls rite now are the worst compare to last time.

Looks department wise most of them cannot make it unlike last time have pretty minah like lavender, nelly, sweet, gigi, evon, etc.

Massage skill wise most are not that experience except erin and mis. Last time use to have many good masseuse in the joint like angie, luna, suzie, sweet, etc.

Service wise by the receptionist in sentosa and permas branch were also not as nice as before too.

The newer batch of NLs are also not so willing to please customers and strictly no raba-raba outside unlike last time

Actually businesses should not be raising their prices as they earn an extra 4% with the implementation of the GST as the previous service tax of 10% is scrapped and not applicable anymore. So they are paying only 6% instead of 10% so why are they raising prices?

Maybe it is true as you mentioned in some other type of businesses, the service tax or sales tax is more than the 6% GST.

Therefore the boss should be UNTUNG leow and therefore not justify to raise price.

In this world, all kinds of business also got people do. Be it dirty business, scam business, dishonest business, gangster business, etc. But only one kind of business nobody wants to do, that is "RUGI" business. (亏本生意)

However, in the food business, the situation could be different.

Before GST is implemented, many outlets already charged 6% govt tax and 10% service charge, like 古文茶, 绿园, oldtown kopitiam, etc.

But now instead of call 6% govt tax, it was known as GST. Therefore there is no tax reduction or increase.

But I believe it is the operating cost of running the business could have been increased that is the reason why they wanted to raise prices.

For example, in a food business, the ingredients use to make food becomes more costly due to supplier charge the outlet 6% GST, increase in transport fee and utility bill, etc.

All these are increased overheads/expenses to the running costs of the business. As a result the outlet will have no choice but to pass all these cost increase to the consumers...

Personally I have tried many nasi lemak joints and would like to comment that majority NL masseuses in other joints do not undergo proper training like goldpoint NL girls.

They just learn a bit of massage technique from their seniors in the joint (学了点皮毛) and started to give customer massage. (but main focus is to persuade customer to take up hj + roaming with extra income)

However, it is different in GP. With SOP, the massage done by NL in GP is systematic and orderly. Massage begin with warm-up (panaskan) of the whole body by pressing at the correct spot, then follow by finger or palm massage using fragrance oil or cream up to customer preference.

Lastly she will pet gently on the part of the body that has been massaged to complete that stage. In addition, they are also willing to accommodate other requests like massage arms, stomach, chest, shoulders, etc.

If we compare GP with other NL joints, you will notice the difference in terms of the following:
