Haha..... now then they allow their own newspaper to come out the report first. Earlier I was passing by Nicoll Highway and saw black smoke coming from Beach road side..... so being the kaypoh I made a u-turn to see what's happening. Saw 2 of my reporter friends from Wanbao & CNA at the scene..... heard from them car on fire case..... but but but..... they had instructions from higher ups not to release any news about the incident yet..... because someone told the police officers that there was an explosion before the car went up in flames.

So news blackout was imposed and Wanbao / CNA cannot release the news..... because need to investigate whether explosion is terrorist related. However there were other witnesses who told different versions of the incident...... and finally the guy who told the police about the explosion admit he did not actually saw the car explode but had heard it from the diners in the shop.... so he just regurgitated what he had heard to the cops.

Finally story checked out and all clear given for media release..... but how come ST get to release the news first when Wanbao & CNA reporters were at the scene earlier.?
