I agree that the lobby of 1817 is decorated like a KTV. I also agree that they like to blast the 93.3 and 97.2 cina music to a deafening level! But sometime in a good day, they have sexy eye candies dancing to the tune of the cina & lianish music. The onli thing I like about the rooms are the firm and comfy mattresses. Not sure if they are Horse brand, Sealy, King Koil, Slumberland, etc. leh! But u sure the speakers are BOSE? Macam branded sia!

First of all no side and ceiling mirrors and the irritating music plus rooms are small lah. Many months ago, i heard that a bro wanted to baoed Da Qiao, and he had been having like 10 hour sessions or more each day for like many days a stretch and were working towards the deal to baoed her but after a while it seems that the intensity faded and she was still around for like months before she left like a few months ago. This particular guy went so far as to promised to buy her a home and also provide her immediately a transfer of like S$100 or S$200k and during this time said that the banking system did not warrant him to send more than S$5k to the bank in China. What absolute nonsense and i knew that this guy was not genuine and was playing for time but she was smitten with the idea of a comforatble life ( who would not ) and probably got hurt as she really put her feelings in the relationship. Just some anecdotes on Da Qiao. Cheers!

Bro, you are quite right but that guy who bao her wanted to marry her in PRC.
He is a Hongkonger and a banker working in a foreign bank in SIN and
he strike a deal with the OKT to bao her everyday while she rest in her room waiting for him.
He would appear as and when he is free to meet her in her room.

This happens about the same time when another WL, Linda was also being baoed in GL.

Da Qiao was baoed for abt 2 months and unfortunately he was retrenched.
Da Qiao went back to work and she told me she is going back to Shanghai to get married after she leave GL.

This guy even bring her to MBS condo. nearby n told her he own a few units at the upper level..........wah piang ah........but wat i heard from Da Qiao he is a contractor n friend of ........not so convient to reveal here.Anyway dats why she don't trust man easily ,she though she has a shouder to rest on after bad exp. with her china ex. before this man.......she is a gd package....wasted.....

I like da qiao a lot too. But she is gone and will be Always a good memory for me. I tried xiao qiao her cousin but no real motivation to go back to her. Got jj crystal previously but not sure if they r gone.

To be fair, the beds in 1817 cost $2K a piece and the Bose sound system is a plus compare to 2831A.
The bathrooms in 1817 have transparent glass walls and the temperature of the water does not flunctuate like 2831A.
The temperature of the water in 2831A sometimes "hot" sometimes "cold".
I think the heater system need to upgrade liao.

However, I keep going back to 2831A becos of the friendly OKT and his democratic system.
He does not give you any pressure even if you sit and tok whole day there.
You can tok and drink until you song song then you call your fav chicken.
You can even call your fav chicken from all over GL and he is please to serve you.
Of course, some other OKTs are also friendly and democratic but most will show black face if you drink and tok whole day and then call your fav chicken from outside somemore.

Some OKTs like Oolong, Ah Yap, Ah Leebaba, Tommy, Hua ke etc... are also friendly and customer oriented. Not forgetting Comfort Teksi, Moses Mark.

Juz my own opinion lah. It is OK if you dun agree.
