Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
The longer the LAN MOU [pubic hairs] the greater the spread to catch fire. So, be careful not to get too irritated by others, otherwise, your LAN MOU DOO JIOK FOH [angry until cock hair also on fire] then you know that your long LON MOU provide more fuel for the fire

the recent all-out demostrations, esp the one started by Indians, matters to us. When we cann even talk and discuss about malaysia problems or situations, usually it only means that we have worked or lived there to be in a position to discuss. u just cannot deny the fact that malaysia is a country infested with criminals and dadahs etc and robberies are so rampant that its almost a sure thing for any singaporean driver to be robbed once in his lifetime if he goes into JB for work daily.

The grass is NOT greener in S'pore
Quote:
Those who think the grass is greener in S'pore should read the foillowing article :- Report from The STAR ( Malaysia) dated Saturday 22 December 2007 :- Public cry foul over recent policies Insight: Down South By SEAH CHIANG NEE Middle class Singaporeans are giving the government the thumbs down despite Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew’s prediction of a golden era in the coming years. A SUCCESSION of unpopular policies – incredibly ill-timed, if not ill-planned – has reduced the government’s public popularity to the lowest level in many years. It is ironic because the economy and the job market are on a roll, which should have resulted in a high level of optimism and improved feelings for the ruling People’s Action Party. Instead the opposite is happening. The sentiments among middle class Singaporeans have reached one of their lowest points despite Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew’s prediction of a “golden era” in the coming years. Read more at ......... JB Mat Rempit attack cops, 37 held
Report from The New Straits Times dated Monday 31 December 2007 :-
JB Mat Rempit attack cops, 37 held JOHOR BARU : A police patrol unit was attacked by a group of enraged Mat Rempit after they were warned to stop their illegal race. The drama unfolded when a police patrol unit from the Johor Baru (North) police headquarters in Kempas, Tampoi, was sent to stop the illegal race in Kempas following complaints from residents there. The policemen were in a patrol car and heading back to the headquarters about 1.30am after dispersing the crowd when a group of Mat Rempit surrounded the car and began kicking and banging on it. District police chief Assistant Commissioner Ruslan Hassan said more than 20 policemen were sent to the scene after the department received a distress call from the patrol unit. Police managed to detain 37 men. In a follow-up operation, they detained several more suspects aged between 14 and 30. They also seized 29 motorcycles. "Although no one was hurt in the incident, police view the case seriously. "We cannot tolerate such audacity," Ruslan said. In Ipoh, police detained 38 Mat Rempit and confiscated 27 motorcycles and a car in an operation yesterday. Three of them tested positive for drugs. Eleven of those detained will be charged with dangerous riding. --- KatoeyNewsNetwork |

Re: Please be careful - Daylight Robbery
Lets give some credit to Johor Polis.. Nowadays they dont really go all out to ask for coffee $$ from Singapore.
I first bribed a polis from malaysia when I was in the army, less than 20 years old and its not even my fault. Nowadays the polis usually will wave Singapore cars to go on in road blocks.. but for malaysia cars with sole chinese driver ( young guy ), they will definitely pull him over to kajiao them. I know this because I drive JB car and singapore cars in Johor all the time.. the benefit of driving SG car now in JB is that polis dont really disturb you but the robbers will disturb u. Road blocks are everywhere from 11pm onward.. 2nd link come out to Johor instantly got road blocks every night for the past 1 months.. along major highways and roads leading to highways, road blocks from 11pm are causing traffic jams.. But i dont really mind cos they are definitely improving. Not expecting them to be like those USA polis but at least they are trying ( trying hard not to drink more coffee )

The reason they don't go for Singaporean is because of :- 1) Most of them don't speak English, so how to ask in Malay? 2) Singaporean may not bribe while it's Malaysian way to bribe in order to find the easy/cheaper way out People been to overseas working will find that Malaysian government service including the police force are ineffective and full of corruption. If given power, most personnel in the civil service will attempt to earn some extra income, hence we read a lot about "kopi license", tax-free cigarettes and booze...etc. At the higher level, corruption is done openly, the recent Port Klang scandal, Malaysian first astronaut, the purchase of submarines are few examples .More can be read at Malaysia Today: Your source of independent news - The king-makers behind the corridors of power |

Msian, dare you be a sickaporean??
Last mth was with a bro fm Msia. He was so full of praise for Sick&poor & garment. Told me how the Msian minorities were marginalise, no job opportunities, his garment corrupted. My reply to him was why not he come to Sick&poor and look for jobs and later apply for SC. He paused for a moment and later said he dont mind working in Sick&poor cos of the strong ex rates. But renouncing citizenship was a NO NO.
So, u guys tell me being s Sick&poorean or a Malaysian..which one is better? My Msian counterpart tot being the latter is still better. And I cant agree with him more. Do u guys know that alot of poor Sick&pooreans are suffering in silence be they silent majority or minority? Things are all going up and up. Thanks to all the rich PRs and foreign talents!! Oh yes, Msian Hindu bros no need to protest and mimic what those monks did in Mynamar. They are always welcome to come to Sick&pore and look for jobs and dont forget to renounce your Msia citizenship and be a true Sick&aporean!

That's the price to pay for development, 10 years ago, I was told almost every Taiwanese has to have at least 1 partime job, I guess Singapore will be going thro that soon. For Singaporean, ur future is quite secure as all the system are in place and politically the country is very stable whereas us the 2nd class citizen had been marginalized by NEP and nobody can foresee any bright future ahead, as now and then u'd find the ruling party come out with biased policy and the silent minorities can do nothing at all. For now Malaysia is a nice place to live in, that's why most Malaysian still prefer to remain here but our main worries is the next generation, hence it's wise to migrate to somewhere if possible |
