It is definitely not easy for PRC WLs to sustain in this tough and highly competitive GL arena ... The primary reasons for their early exit are as follow:

1) GL customers are too demanding & rough;
2) Lack of business to justify their existence;
3) Their bosses did not treat them well and short change them (i.e. some houses only offer the WLs S$75 instead of the usual S$80, and WLs from one particular house have to pay for the transport in addition);
4) Family problems at home or BF problems;
5) Suffering from home sick;
6) Not accustom to living in Singapore and lonely;
7) Fail the mandatory medical checkup;
8) Being "bao" (or kept) by wealthy men as mistress

The above reasons may not be exhaustive but are common (except reason #8) according to many OKTs that I spoke to.
