I also have a viet baxa who is now 4 months pregnant with my child.. Like bro Cas, my ba xa was also once a WL. But we are happily married now and she makes a good housewife and housemaker now! BTW I am only in my mid 20s... I knew her 3 yrs ago in a pub in geylang. She quit the scene after being with me for 6 months as she is actually here in Singapore to work in pub to kill time. She did told me she did not go upstair with customers, all she did was sit with customers only. And like all typical men, At the start, I did not trust her words totally, but at times go by, I was touched by everything she did for me, she even stop working after knowing me for a short period of time. I went to her hometown with her after knowing her for a year, only then to believe that whatever she told me was true... She is from a well to do family in Vietnam, her dad has a business, she is just too rebellious, her dad wanted her to continue her studies, but she is not interested in studying, thats why packed her bag and came to Singapore with a few of her Sisters.
Well, its a blessing that both our family did not object to the marriage, she knew that i was not so rich, so everything was kept simple.

I am now waiting eagerly for our new life to come to this world.

Yours is like the fairy tale type. 1 out of 1 million... lucky "bastard" lol.. . very rare so most brother is best to be cautious and dun believe fairy tale ending....

Well, like wat i had mentioned, like all typical men, i did not trust what she said, or put it as i dare not trust her at a start... but at time goes by, she prove to me what she said.

My wife just got her PR 2 mths ago. applies 2 times then got it liao le.. well not trying to show off, but i tink ICA there really looks at the guy's pay to approve the foreigner's PR application, I am just mid 20's tis yr but earning abt 3k a month, very fast they approve.

My Ba xa is really a wonderful gal. Shes the thoughtful type, the kindhearted type. Previously when i got steady with a few SG gals, never had i gotten such wonderful feelings before.

Oh ya, I planning to apply for our own HDB home soon, we are currently still staying in my parent's house. Any bro can give some advise, as in cause she is not working, I am the breadwinner, with our baby coming soon, what are the things to look out for?

what she need is a good and ambitious husband, you will need to put your career abv yourself but remember to put family 1st and career 2nd yourself third.

since you are not rich your wife will be relieve that yoyu are trying your best to provide them a better future.

my personal advice for prudent choice to not to buy more than $250k of flat. settle for a 3 room flat rather than a 4 room till you can comfortably upgrade to a 4 room or 5rm or condo. do not let the house loan killed you. try to clear your hdb rental within 10 years. a house is a place to relieve ur soul and not to burden n cause more sleepless nites.
