Hi there. I didnt know Trlppling is based in Guangzhou. I have been here for the past 2 years, and have tried Tony's restaurant a couple of times. From what i know, there's 2 restaurant at the moment.

Anyway, if there's a gathering with food and cheong, do count me in.

I'll be in HK and China for about 3 weeks (6-25 Sep), flexible. The main purpose is to attend a martial art tournament in HK as a guest of the organisers. I used to travel often to SHA when my martial art teacher was still alive.

I have a few questions which I hope you can help as I have a few personal matters I have to attend to when I go to Guangzhou and elsewhere. (For obvious reasons I don't want all my highly respected martial art associates in HK/China to know about my cheonging pastimes). This will be my first excursion into GZ:

1. Have you heard of Zengcheng (famous for its lychees)? How far is Zengcheng from Dongguan? My ancestors came from this district so I'm taking this opportunity to do some research into my genealogy.
2. Is DG a good place to stay if my main objective is to cheong in that area? If so, is it convenient to get to Zengcheng from there? Or do you think I should base myself in GZ or even Zengcheng instead?
3. I need to go to Wudang Shan afterwards. Presumably my best bet is by train. (This is the least of my concerns as I'm sure my martial art brothers from China can help me with that.)
4. Perhaps we can meet for dinner?
5. Any other brothers would like to join me?

Hello Kung-Fu master! Welcome to SBforum....

Zengcheng is very near to Dongguan City hence its nearer than Guangzhou. However, if you must go from GZ to Zengcheng, then goto Liu Hwa Bus station and take the coach direct. However, my advize is to stay in Dongguan City instead coz more action there.

As for your Wudang trip, I suggest you fly there as its really far away and by train it will take quite a few days if i'm not mistaken.

As for the dinner / drinks - sure, just pm me when you are in GZ and we see if theres a chance of hooking up....

Wah, you even know about the lychee...kekeke. I think you are the REAL SIFU of Guangdong sheng! Must ask if you are accepting any disciples then I can come prepared to pai shi...

Is it practical to buy a phone SIMM card (with designated number) in GZ or HK that I can use to ring around?

Was in the town of Houjie briefly yesterday and couldn't resist a visit to Shanhu. Called up Supervisor Deng, she welcomed me to try her new "range" of girls which have been put under intensive training by a new "sifu".

Within 1/2 hr of that call, I was already sitting in the "VIP room" while Deng tells me about her chics. Anyway, most of the girls are pretty new coz I've never seen them before..... A few caught my attention - G22, 12, 32 (or 31), 89

So I took upon her advize 71 and the busty 89 for a twin-session.

Basically, the service was the usual good, so not much to describe there. However, the worthy mentions are:

Girls don't seem to mind some mild bi-action.
BBBJ now included (with or without fire/ice)
CIM allowed also (tho I later learned that not all the girls are willing - but many will)
Toes / Finger sucking seems to be a twin-heaven. Try it. One chic workin on ur fingers while the other on your toes. lol!

Anyway, Shanhu still has its charm although lesser girls now but they compensate with skills.

Overall Damage 1000 (800 for 2 girls) + 180 (VIP room) + 20 (tips here and there)
Overall Score 8.5/10 (Service is top quality)

Zengcheng is quite small town compared to Dongguan and Guangzhou. But you or your driver should be able to locate it with ease - as its a very famous place for Lychees.

Sim card - You can buy those top-up SIM which is readily available but be warned on 2 things: 1) Make sure you get the right SIM that allows you to call from / to anywhere in China 2) The rates are high - much higher than normal SIMs so be prepared to top up regularly.

As for your flight - I strongly recommend you try Hainan Air. Their service is much better than the rest (China Southern - SHIT, Air China - SHIT, Shanghai Air - SHIT) and if you don't have discount tickets, you can pay full fare and get VIP services where they will take you through the VIP Check-in and escort you direct to the plane

If my guess is correct (i.e. "Kopitiam"), then its a Singapore / Malaysian food type of restaurant. I've personally tried their food there, and the worthy mentions are:

1. Laksa
2. Sweet Rice Kueh
3. Carrot Cake

But honestly, for all the bros who are here visiting, then its not worth your while trying out these dishes since you can readily get em back home. Thats not to say you cannot show up to meet up the owner just to say hi.

On the other hand, there are those, (eg. me) who are stationed permanantly away from home. Hence, Kopitiam would be one of my "Must-eat" places where I frequent once a fortnight......

P.S - They have one in Taojin Lu - right in the heart of Guangzhou, walking distance from the (in)famous Garden Hotel & Taojin Lu.

Hi tripping,

As of now I am in Jia Hua Hotel in HJ. From the bellboy, he tells me the situation is quite tight now with raids . Can you verify that?

Was in Guangzhou staying at Landmark Hotel and went to the KTV at level 3. Had a good night til when we were about to leave and we told the hotel we stay is not girl friendly. Went back to the hotel with my rounds still in the magazine.

Took a taxi to HJ the next morning as advised by Bro tripping. It cost me about 300rmb plus toll (about 30 rmb)

Anyway i will be visiting the Pharoah 's Palace Nite Club tonight with 2 fellow cheongsters Will post a FR if possible with a picture ;0).

Tomorrow will also check out the Sauna at Shanhu
