To those who are like me, still nursing a pain (whether FL/ML or not), I want to encourage you that it's not the end of the world. It may seem pointless to carry on living for the 1st week, but after that you can transform those deep feelings into something positive.

To nurse my pain, I've been running everyday for at least 30 mins each time and have completed at least a few marathons in that duration. I've not spent anymore money on FL/ML coz I can't bear to be with any. I've lost at least 10kg and have not been this fit since my NS days.

Chin up, something good can come out of a heartbreak! 加油!!

Having feelings for a FL can happen when our guards are down. We engage them to create a make belief moment, be it sex, or company.

Many of us probably know better than to believe a 20+ SYT would spend the rest of their lives with a 40 or 50 balding man.


However, once the hearts rules, it is tough to follow the head. And we poison our own mind.

Stop all communications with that FL until you have regain control of yourselves.

I'm terribly lost right now. We broke up a month ago, and I've been trying to get over her but it's so hard. She's the awesome-est relationship I've had.

Despite being a ML, I've never felt she's one when we're together, when we go out, when we have our up and down moments. Reading all the good MRs on her, I'm flattered that she chose me, and i fell headlong into it.. If you say she's faking the gfe, I simply don't believe anyone can act so convincingly. I know how she behaves commercially (afterall I started out as just a client) and she's not like that with me..

One month later, today, a chance at rekindling appears. She tells me we broke up to test me, that she never stopped missing me, that there was never anyone else. I believe her. That's my heart speaking. It's not my dick talking.

I know better than to trust my heart alone. I need time to evaluate the situation. After nursing the hurt for so long and making progress, should I relapse? Do we have a future together here, in China? What would I be giving up? Is she worth it?

When we broke up, a wise person told me to contemplate 值得。 At that point I thought she meant she wasn't worth my affection because she left me. Now I wonder if she meant if she is worth sacrificing all I have and know, in order to be with her..

I need time to sort this thing out in my head..

pps: I'm not usually this emo. In fact I pride myself on being quite a level headed INTJ. But she has a way of evoking the feelings in the deepest recesses of my soul.

She doesn't. And you can think me gullible but I believe it. Every mannerism and action and belief she has shown me demonstrates she can't stand the thought of doing it with someone she doesnt feel for. It would be hard to keep up a false impression for as long as we've been together... and that's why she's ML not FL.
