was down at DAG last nite.. galz there juz .. errrmmzzz.. cant seemz to make it... but went there for the band ler... but Lil Rock Band now juz seemz to be singin too much english songz.. less n less thai songz already..
but had a blardee smashing good time at THH last nite.. the SYTs there.. hot... n i reckon, jenny, at THH is really damned cute... hahahah.. but i'm always am too smashed to get to talk wif her ler..

was there last night too and besides the other time when punch performed, never enjoyed myself so much at thaihiphop. but last night, the society band changed my views altogether! the male dancers are really something! they look good, dance well and have great energy.

on another note, did anyone read in the new paper yesterday that golden mile is up for sale and redevelopment? i hope they won't tear it down for major enbloc as that will be a terrible blow to the singapore architectural landscape. it is a landmark piece of architecture.

and where will the thais relocate to?

a little off topic.

correction, it was in the money section of yesterday's papers.
the possibility of the collective sale of golden mile complex.
scanned it in for your reading pleasure.
besides, what does the parliament know about architecture, culture and passion.

it is quite worrying. because if this place goes, the discos will have to look for a new home... and if they are scattered all over town, it will be inconvenient for all of us to hop from one joint to another. and also, the prices of drinks in the new places are bound to cost much more than they are here now...

it'd be painful to, say, in 3 years time, drive pass this place, by then a flattened out construction site, and sing "this used to be my playground..."

collective sales takes too long a time.. even by then .. most ppl might have found some new interests already and even by then, i believe alot of other places would be bringin in thai imports..
if i'm not mistaken... there r coupla other joints that have thai imports as well.. hehehe .. any1 been to Live Impact? i heard geylang has some thai joints as well.. but i gotta agree.. Golden Mile is better.. it houses so many joints.. spoiling us for choices.. hahahahahha....

for me liking THH so much is for i dig RnB.. so even when band goes on break.. i'm still.. errrmmzz... hip-hoppin away? hahahha.. but yea.. the overall band is pretty good.. cept for the tallest singer... she... errrmmzz.. not dat good compared to the others.. n the male dancers.. their pretty good stuff.. worth lookin at.. hehehhe..

yeah, was previously quite a regular at live impact when the previous band, city cats, was playing. the female singer was pretty. and insanely entertaining. seen the new band a few times, but the chemistry is very different now. although, it's quite unique to see someone use a key-tar to perform.

yeah, THH is slowly winning me over. the band is entertaining. i concur on the tallest singer. she can't sing / entertain. she sings off the lyrics sheet stuck onto the front lead vocals monitor. but she is pretty. i am a sucker for looks. heh. it is beyond a doubt that TD and THH still have the better bands.

popped into j-dee after not been there for ages. my, it is, to say the least, atrocious! it is literally an air-conditioned ge-tai. the band sucks big time! i believe they are a local ge-tai band. with ah peks playing bass, guitars and keyboards. the singer is this gay misfit belting out of tune hokkien songs. the management really needs to do something about the band. they are losing customers by the day. i went in, stood there for 2 minutes and immediately dashed out.

oh well.

bro.. apparently, if u read some of the postings b4... currently JDee is havin some prblems wif their band.. so currently they have a local band performin now... jz went there once.. when they still had a thai band.. not too bad.. rather entertainin .. but the place is small.. n lotsa oldies there... n perhaps the time when i went there.. the galz were.. errmmzz.. not much of lookers... TD n THH still holds the better galz.. N Dag.. the basement joint.. occasionally will have some pretty SYTs workin there.. band is not too bad.. but THH is a joint i'd prbly be in more often.. coz of the younger crowd... n i'm a sucker for RnB & HipHop... hhehe....

It's better for J-Dee to do away with the getai band....scaring away the customers. THH is the place for me now....at least for the next 2 weeks. 5 new hostesses just reported to work yesterday.
