I am not sure why so many other posters disagree with you - maybe they only have exposure to Viet WLs once and therefore think they are all "ok" when there are better choices out there.

I've been to America, visited Vietnamese and Thailand restaurants and I can sense the difference in attitude/demeanor between the viet and thai waitresses.

Not to mention the countless opinions online that Vietnam is a terrible tourist destination as compared to the much more positive overall vibes tourists get from Thailand/Bangkok.

I am pretty sure there's some cultural problem with the Vietnamese i.e.: this is not a one off experience.

Remember, these girls regardless of Thai/Viet/Chinese are making easy money banging strangers instead of spending effort on physical/mental labour. They don't have to be nice about it, but if they are smart about it like Thai WLs are, they can at least pretend to be friendly/affectionate and hence boost return rates.
