News flash dudes. Singapore is one of the cheapest destinations to get a decent English education, Singlish notwithstanding. This country is still relatively cheap compared to the likes of Australia, Canada, America, Europe et all. Plus its a lot easier to get a visa. Maybe it could be surprise surprise, they are Chinese like most of you morons...

Hell, lets add all those Korean study mommas into the list of prostitutes and why not all Filipinos, Caucasians and everybody under the goddamn sun.

(Provided she is not under ICA blacklist)

1.First book a date at ROM...just go to ROM website
2.Apply social visit pass for her...make sure she has a "Dan Shen Zhen Ming Shu" she should know how to get it.
3.After that go ROM, find two witness above 21yrs old.
4.After ROM have cert, u can apply for extension of her visit pass as she is now ur wife.(how long depend on ICA).
5.U can try apply PR status for her during this time, ICA will need to check on ur earnings and hers education etc etc.
Meanwhile if she can find a good paying job all this will help. But as say bro this all depend on ICA..the more solid proof of ur income the faster its is.
Of course if u earn alot n she is highly educated than it will be damn fast.

Juz want to add to all this PRC topic...no marriage is a confirm thing..so what if she is a non-singaporean. Divorce between Singaporeans Couples are any lower also.

Love is something between you n her...it doesn't matter what nationality she is from..most important is the TRUST and LOVE between both parties..i am not expert but both take times to show..so don't rush to get marry just because u want her to stay in Spore..married her because u find that she is the one whom u can grow old and start a family with..someone whom u can depend on when u are down and poor.

Bros, I too have a PRC Gf which I have been dating for the past 2 years. We intend to get married soon.

After checking online I realised that the easiest way will be to register the marriage in China first as China allows you to walk up and register. Just ask you gf for the China procedures. After the marriage in China, you can just return to Singapore and file the marriage cert with ICA and apply for long term social visit.

Of course you can ROM in Singapore first, but my considerations will be that if by the time the visa expire and ICA has not issue the 6 months pass she will still need to go back. All of us with foreign GF will know how "FAST" ourr ICA works. Once ICA issue the pass then my gf can fly over and ROM in Singapore if she wants cos by that time there is no issue of rushing the wedding ceremony furthermore under HDB ruling, once the foreign spouse has a 6 months visit pass, you can apply for HDB flats.

Thats my intention, ROM in China, apply for pass and hdb flat then she come over do the flat then we ROM again in Singapore, I like there will not be so many headaches.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Pls up me if the advise is good as I am short of points to get most FL lobangs.

Let's clear this misconception. It does not matter matter where you register your marriage but if you are residing in Singapore at the time when you or she file for divorce..... then the Womens Charter apply

Wanna marry PRC..... then ROM in China and STAY in China...... the moment you return to Singapore you will be screwed by the Womens Charter!
