Legal house = BBQ seafood store
Tourist got overcharge report to AV  = Tourist ate tiger prawn got overcharge
report to newspaper! 

Result: 

Newton BBQ seafood store got closed down few months. People won't go that store anymore or even never go Newton at all! 

Geylang legal house..... Case is legal!!! Actually that is not our(AV) job! Too bad u didn't ask for the receipt! 

Reason : Free market!  you can walk out if the price not right! What is the problem? 

Advice: If you so cheap can stay house watch porn and pcc is free!  

Conclusion: Legal house business won't be affect at all! 
House even get more famous, more carrot heads come in and happy ever after!

How much is a coke in a food court? I think it is about $1.80? (80% up)
How much is a coke in let's say in a restuarant? I think it would be about $10 to $12 bucks? (1000% up)

Now a shot is $150. Your friend paid $300 lets say, that is only 2 times more expensive.

Ntuc, foodcourt, restaurant all sell items in difference prices, but in a FIXED price! Ntuc got price tags, foodcourt and restaurant all got menu! Local, tourists, rich or poor all pay the SAME price!

If Ntuc sell Coke to a tourist in a price higher than Singaporean! I think it will make a headline tomorrow in Newspaper!

Frankly guys what the point of arguing about this matter. It is a known fact that some not all OKT are not so honest and charges foreigners a premium above what we local pay. In this case I believe as a foreigner even if I will to visit another country, I will have to do my due diligence to find out more about that country going rate. If not best is to go with a local, just as I did when I went Thailand. By doing so at least I know I won't be another carrot head.
