I actually doubt that this will make much money but I have just read that this is quite successful in Hong Kong. I guess that is due to the novelty of 3D erotic movies. In Hong Kong, the only other 3D erotic movie is Natali. So people will want more 3D erotic movies. Just recently, Malaysia decides to follow the making of a 3D erotic movie. Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy is a remake or a follow-up of the Chinese classic.

This is not the direct cut version which is 129 mins long.
The reason why SG version even passed was because it was already cutted down to 113 mins.
So far only in HK cinema was the 129 mins version shown.
