er... news says over 100+ PRC girls caught walking/staying in joints in Geylang while on social visit pass, that means that not all (i believe none) are being charged with providing/soliciting sexual activities... there is no way the police can managed to round up 100+ illegal prositutes in 8 hours, cos u need hard evidences to prove that they are soliciting/providing sexual activities for a fee like accept undercover police offer, money, strips naked etc. once these women are brought back there, all of them will be threaten with illegal pros/solicting charges and then counter-offered to not charged them but they must agreed to be deported back and not come back to sing again.

i think the effort is to round up all the PRC FL/streetwalker cos their numbers are growing out of hand lah, they will be deported back to PRC and banned from coming back to Sing hence the operation term "Eradicate" so GL will basically be ghost-town until CNY and they will now turn their attention to JC cos extreme pressures are mounting on AV from public, MPs.

This tactic is more effective and less time consuming than getting AV officers to surf sammyboy everyday and then compile a report on evidences collected via sammyboy that so and so PRC is providing FL where and when, by the time they get the go ahead to arrest the lady or plan any undercover move, she gone back to PRC already and i don't see 100 over PRC FL listed in sammyboy, the most is 30 - 40 lah...

if u think our comments here will destroy GL & JC, HC, FL scenes in SG, dun worry, we are not that powerful enough and Prostitute is still the oldest profession in the world.

Well summarised and correct appraisal of the situation...police don't have the resources/time ( need evidence/witnesses/court hearing booking etc ) to prosecute esp since only soliciting/pimping but not prostitution per se is illegal
They have their own intelligence unit which have paid informants who provide them info. Dis may very well include legal brothel operators whose business is affected by FLs ..

Like the bros say i don think AV relys so heavily on SBF for info (if they do ... they r slacker than i ever imagined) ... they just close a blind eye and monitor only taking action when public complains ... cos frankly impossible to wipe out lor ... as long got demand sure got supply ... easier to contol what u know then hit hard and really force everything underground.

Anyway seems the cops r still at it ... last nite they raided the small disco b/w L14 & L12 or is it L12 & L10 ... anyway saw quite a few cha bor standing outside the place being questioned by a couple of officers ... but turning into L10 u never suspect there was a raid recently at all ... little chinatown still packed as ever ... saw a few pretty ones ... that's a good sign i guess ... might not be a lonely x'mas after all ... mauhahahahahahahaha

true. give them more credit than that.

maybe if someone mention some new ktv, tn or hc got vice activities, they may take note. but conducting a raid is not just suka suka esp when the raid got kosong. if the asp ask io who ask u go n raid? io reply cos sammyboy say inside got action. next week io will be guarding pulau senang.

but still we should be more discreet. dont say which gl 150 provide raw or give hp no of okt n chabor etc etc.

The ppl working in the law enforcement agencies themselves cheong too so nonetheless they will also know where's happening so on and so forth. Everyone, including these ppl. have friends who are cheongsters who will update them on new 'developments'. With or without this forum, its still the same. The law enforcement agencies are resourceful and not dumb. Everyone wants to cheong with peace of mind, including them. Likewise, they have quotas to meet and have to work to 'show' ppl and the minister they are working. With more complaints from public, the raids amd arrest quota goes up. Life goes on...
