Just came back from Chengdu to see my girl.
Yes, indeed the living standard cost is low.

RMB$3.00 for a bowl of noodle,
RMB$2.00 for a can of coke or coffee
and taxi fare starts at RMB$5.00.

standard restaurant meal at 4-5 dishes for 2 person RMB$80-100

bonking fare:
short time (they call it fast-food) - RMB$150-300
overnite (bring to hotel) - RMB$450-600

but always be aware that if you stay in the KTV room,
you end up paying lots of service charge and markup price
for the tibits and drinks !!! The best is to look up for any
trishaw rider and ask them to bring you girls to your room !!!

the girls there are value for $money$

I was just in Chengdu, staying at this fine hotel, thus had the opportunity to try out their in-call massage service.
Apparently this fine hotel has a rep for busty masseurs.

My FR is quote standard, good service, pretty SOP.
damage was USD 200, but inclusive of some after-hours company until 9am the next day. All in all, great service for biz travelers, who don't have extra time to roam & cheong. Thanks!
