Glacier stared at Kyle.

Beast stood up but Glacier gestured him to stay and Beast obeyed.

Glacier stood up, brushing the blood from his mouth again. He charged towards Lance, sending punches but Lance dodged it swiftly, retaliating with deadly punches to the abdomens and Glacier came coughing out blooding again. He endured Lance's punches and waited for the right moment.

Lance punched him mercilessly until suddenly Glacier took hold of his fist and twisted it sideways, causing Lance to flip. His right hand was twisted and broken. Glacier pulled Lance and knee jabbed Lance forcefully on his stomach. The sound of his ribcage breaking could be heard. Lance threw out blood and down came Glacier's hammering elbow towards his spine.

Glacier threw Lance away as he laid on the floor, barely alive.

Glacier: Kyle! I'm warning you release Fong!

By now Kyle was already near Fong. Fong struggled to break free but to no avail.

Kyle: Alright, if you say so.

Kyle cut the rope and Fong came crashing. Glacier tried to run towards Fong but it was too late for him. Beast leapt and Fong landed on him before she fell to the ground, minimizing the impact of the fall. Beast growled as he laid in a pool of blood. He had sacrificed itself whilst saving Fong.

Glacier patted Beast's head. "Thank you Beast'.

The panther stuck its tongue out and gave a low growl before it breathed its last.

Glacier untied her as Fong tried her best to stand.

Glacier: Are you alright?

Fong nodded and Glacier hugged her. The both of them were lost in thoughts of each other.

Kyle spat. "Disgusting".

Lance mustered up all his strength, took out the pistol and fired away.

Fong saw Lance and immediately she came in front of Glacier.

The sound of the gunshot exploded and it pierced straight through Fong's heart. Fong's eyes opened wide and she was breathing heavily. She turned her face towards Glacier with tears in her eyes.

Fong: I love you Glacier.

She said as she breathed her last, dying on his shoulders.

Glacier screamed as he went running towards Lance and in one thumping stomp, he smashed Lance's head to bits. His heart cracked as he knelt on the ground.

Glacier: KYLE!!!!

Glacier's deafening roar made her jump as she lost her balance and came falling. She screamed but there was no one there to help.

Glacier tried means and ways to revive Fong but none worked.

Leng regained consciousness and was terrified by the entire blood mess of the warehouse. She ran towards Glacier and instantly knew what happened. Glacier carried Fong and left with Leng.

This incident stayed with Leng throughout her life. Leng took Glacier's hand and looked out of the window.

Leng: How long have it been already? Look. Hong Kong had changed so much. There are so many skycrapers surfacing. And everything seemed to change so much except you Glacier. You still look the same 40 years ago.

Leng said as she held on to Glacier's hand. In the reflection of the mirror was an old lady in her 70's on her deathbed.

Leng said as her hand dropped to the side and the heartbeat machine went dead.

Glacier placed her hands together and placed the rose in between her hands as he left the hospital.

He glanced at the sky and detested the very thought of seeing centuries of change. He had waited for centuries and when Fong appeared, she suffered the same fate as Elizabeth. How long more did he have to wait again?

He put on his coat and walked away with his slinged backpack.
