To bring in the chio PRCs, there must be a dangling carrot to attract them. Or else they would choose to go TAM work or they can earn more under the OKTs. Like I said, they are very down to earth and are here to earn $$$.

Regarding the point about the AV raiders, they also don't care. When they raid BS, knn those gers in jeans and tank top sitting at coffee shop below they also bring back to question. Their mentality is rather kill wrongly than let go by mistake. The raiders will even take the gers' handphone and start calling every stored number to disturb. Whadda ..... So no matter what precaution the pub owner take, the raiders will be waiting to pound...

Does he want to bring in the PRCs and if he does, is he prepared to pay them top $$$ to entice them over and is he aware of the possible risks (both social and legal) from the local regulators? These are questions that he will have to mull over. Cheers.

good focal question. My contacts of PRCs MMs would fall into a wide age group, from 20-30s years of age. Former occupation back home is also as club hostesses and masseusrs, 'they are on a short holiday' here.

Biz contacts are alerted of coming opening.
Juz got to round up some nitty gritty things like, the renovation of the environment. A small headache as there are some 500sq ft of partially open air space and a 300sq ft of total open air space, both not joined ut seperated as front and back...hmmm

I'll just add my comments and suggestions. Please feel free to disagree with me..I don't profess to know everything about the entertainment business although it feels like I go out every night

Well, you've said that you're probably going to import mostly Australian wines that are at least of average quality. Australia is now producing very drinkable wines, like Lindemans, Jacobs Creek etc.

However....what kind of ambience do you want to create? the moment people hear of wine bar....they think of somewhere slightly more upperclass...probably with a suitable atmosphere, cigars, jazz players etc. Its a very English kind of situation, which might contrast with the PRC gals that you may import too. This may create some sort of a contrasting/conflicting atmosphere...which may not be too good.

Having said that, yeah I drink wine, but not when i'm looking for female company or when i'm hunting. Then, i'm either beer or whiskey.

At the end of the day, its your money brother. I don't think its a good idea, but then, its my opinion only.

Am glad to know that you are taking this opportunity to open up a business that has the potential to grow..... a word of caution though, be very careful of cheap alcohol as this can mean that they are parrallel import items and of lower if not inferior quality.

ConGlad that u found good lobang. But pls not sell NTUC wine that Cost $15 and U sell $60! Who drink? Get somethings that not in supermart or esle tough to price. Prcs are overflow now and will be since Malaysia is not allow their in flow easily. Indonesia can only have high quality ones since the big bosses there can pay big money to bao good looking prcs. My last visit to one of the top KTV here, 100++ gers for happy hour & rm not full. Now, KTV ger is S$300 shorttime w/o hotel. U open mouth & plentiful rushing. Unless top quality, Prc earning S$500 per nite not easy. I think if U give prc commission to open bottle, your concepts of wine bar might works. But no contract since no permit. Not supermart wine and not so urgly prcs, it might work. Your Setup might be able to get singers permit & dressing give half ball for attraction. Horrah, another place tohangout!!!!!!!!!!

Think after the years of cheonging.. my minimum standard for a bonk has raised substantially.. I 'm definitely not capable of "entertaining" the rich but probably old or ugly tai tais (of cos, there are good ones, but would they need to frequent such place then?).. as they say, "pay me to f**k them i also dun want"

but I definitely like prc young mms so, keep us informed of your opening.. maybe the bros here can reserve a table to support you (and check out the prcs)..
