ya lor ... I travel in Sg -- from GL L8/10 to Queenstown also S$7+ only .. travelling time about 20 minutes. This is about the same as travelling from Batam Centre to Jodoh area .. gotta pay Rp30-35K (around S$6.50 +/-) also .. considered expensive liao.

However, as long as I am safe and unharm, paying S$1-2 more is fine with me. Money [reasonable amount lah] is not my primary consideration for cheonging in Batam

I dun mind becos I only go there once a month.
for you, you 1 month go 3-4 times .. might as well keep that overpriced of S$1-2, which you intend to give to the cab driver, and pass to your gal.

In this way, money is considered well spent.

but in batam
workers salary very low
they need the tips badly
i dont mind if they work for it
